Hey to call (all says Hey),
It was a very busy weekend for our household. As Ive posted in the past...our DDs participate in a competition called - Odyssey of the Mind. This was the first year that our youngest joined a team in her age group. It was great to see Kristen (youngest) follow in her older sisters footsteps. At regional competition, both teams (youngest in her age group and the oldest two in a high school troop) received a 2nd place award. This earned both teams the opportunity to compete at State finals in Tucson this past weekend. The outcome at State competition this past weekend is a; good news bad news scenario. Both teams received a 4th place award for their efforts. Finishing 4th was the bad news for them as they do not earn an invite to again compete at world finals held at Michigan State University. Witnessing their hard work and great sport-person-ship is good news for us/them. 1st, 4th, 8th 12th...regardless of the score/award/place --- their hard work and dedication to themselves and the team they were on...makes Nan and I, some VERY PROUD parents.
Hope all had a great weekend - we did.
