We are coming up on the 4 month mark - anyone able to book activities, palo, spa, etc. at the 120 day mark? Sadly I have to wait till the 90 day mark.

Sadly, I'm there with you. Gotta wait another month. :sad1:

But at least we are working our way up to the Castaway Club perks ladder...one cruise at a time.:thumbsup2

Thinking about booking a trip to London next April with the DD(16). So does anyone have any suggestions for a flat rental or hotel??? Thanks for any suggestions.

Here's the list of FE participants thus far. The number indicates how many people are associated with the username. If this is not correct, please let me know.

I have udated the list. There are 25 cabins with a total of 117 people participating.

Cindi and Tams, could you let me know who is traveling with you and how many cabins will be participating in the FE exchange.

Although I know some of you have book gty rooms, if you have your cabin room numbers could you please get those to me. And if you haven't already provided me with the names of those participating along with the ages of the children, I like that as well. If you wish that infomation be provided only to those participating in the FE, then PM and I will only put it on the FE list.

Gosh, only 3 months and 29 days to go:cool1:.

I'm at Silver level too. But this cruise will put me in the Gold Level :cool1:.

I won't be Gold till after this one, one in May 2011 and then an additional one. We've thought about taking a few smaller 3/4 day ones to get it up and above so we can have that extra booking time. I always thought they should base it upon the total number of days you sailed vs. the total # of trips. If someone did two transatlantic they would have around 28 nights of sailing vs if someone did 5 3-night ones and only have 15 nights....oh well. Not everything is fair...:)

Hope this finds all well.

This will be our first cruise as 'GOLD'. Am hopeful we can book brunch/diner at Palo without going through the ressie scramble. If not...no big deal.

Not sure if any are still looking for air fare. Southwest Airlines is posting a sale - below are some restrictions.

Purchase by June 24, 2010, 11:59 pm Pacific Time.
Travel September 8 through November 17, 2010.
Travel valid every day except Fridays & Sundays.

Just went in and checked - rates are not too bad. HTH

I'm tentatively joining in this thread as we are about to book this cruise. We are having a "last hurrah" as a family of 4. I will be just shy of 24 weeks at the time of cruising It will be me (33), DH (33), DD5 and DS4 (at cruising time). Hope to be visiting frequently!

Hi, Lydia. Welcome aboard. This is the perfect group with which to celebrate that last hurrah. Now, are you expecting another little one? Is that what the 24 weeks is referencing? If so, then Congratulations as well. Wow, this is really going to be a happening cruise. I get more excited everyday.

Look forward to meeting you and yours.

Again, Welcome aboard!!!

Welcome to the group and congrats on the upcoming addition. I look forward to planning with you.

And, Carla and I will be at Palo for brunch.

Hurry, hurry October 23.

WELCOME!! I have a DD5 as well. She will be excited to have another playmate. :thumbsup2

Welcome to all the newcomers! We are glad to have you aboard. I've been very distracted this trip and haven't been in the planning spirit. I need to change that since the cruise is around the corner. We did take advantage of the SWA sale. Our outgoing flights remained at $148 so we still haven't booked but our return flights dropped from $148 to $79 so I grabbed those.

Well we received some bummer news today. The Assnt. Server we've had four out of five times (and only becouse he was on vacation that one year) is going on vacation the beginning of October. Then he will be going over to the Disney Dream. His name was Kendell, from Trinidad. i know all the servers and assnt . server are all excellent, but Kendell went way above the call of duty.
Maybe if I book another cruise I'll book a 3 & 4 day cruise back to back on the Dream.

WANTED - Excursion Advice

I must admit that I am not impressed with the excursion selection for St. Maarten. I would like to do an island tour/beach day, and have heard great reviews on Bernard's. We would like to experience both sides of the island, see Maho, maybe Orient too. Are there any other private tour groups that you have used in the past that you would recommend? Are there any other DISers that would like to form a group?

For St. Thomas/St. John, I would LOVE to snorkel with the Sea Turtles, so I am leaning towards the Doubloon Turtle Cove Sail And Snorkel or the Full Day Caribbean Sail & Snorkel to Turtle Cove & Honeymoon Beach. Any one taking or have taken either of those? Any feedback?

As for CC, I plan on racing like a madwoman to snag a hammock on the family beach. :rotfl2: And maybe leave it to do a bit of snorkeling.

SO EXCITED!!! :woohoo:

Hi, Lois. I might join you all in St. Thomas. My husband will be SCUBA diving and I am trying to decide what to do and hopefully tag along with someone. Hopefully either you all or Sherry and her crew :goodvibes.
