My 5 year old daughter helped me finish our FE gifts today. Which seems all wrong since she's not cruising with us...this time! We had fun working together and she was a big help!
We're scheduled to take the kids on Podcast Cruise 3.0 - Disney Dream sailing in June, 2012. We'll be staying deck 10 in a family room with verandah. Kids don't know yet. I'm thinking about buying them each a cruise souvenir for Christmas and telling them about our plans for June on Christmas. That'll be exactly 6 months before our cruise date!

We are booked on the Magic for the Dec 10 Western. We are trying to decide wether to book another cruise while onboard this cruise or wait for Dec. Hoping for some exciting itineraries for 2013!

To be real honest here, was not real eager to leave Magic and go to a new ship like this. Have a lot of warm feelings for Magic. Heck I have photos of the kids growing up on the Magic... But as each day passes I really am starting to like some of the cool spaces on the Dream class ships..

Looking forward to the Dream but LOVE the Magic. We are hoping the Dream will "measure up".

WE leave for Florida NEXT WEEK I have been waiting for more then a year for this cruise!!!! Got Cruise docs a few weeks ago, but nothing for POP or POFQ When should I really start to worry?

We are still here, just been lurking lately. This is our first trip with FE gifts and so far putting them together with the kids has been a ton of fun. I am a little worried about getting them all handed out but that time with the family should allow us to get a feel for the ship.

I already made the labels for the bags about a week ago. So, who are we taking off and who are we adding?

I would love an updated excel spreadsheet, I had made one for myself but it looks like things have changed.

So, I'm very much considering jumping onboard this cruise. I've been hesitating, because none of my friends can come with, but it's the only time frame I've got for the rest of the year for vacation. Any other single travelers onboard?

We surprised the boys in 2009 on Christmas and it was AWESOME! I did a scavenger hunt and it was a huge hit with them. It was our first cruise so it was really special.

Saturday-DIS pre-cruise meet at Fishlips 4:00. Come have a drink and watch the Wonder? (or is it the Magic) sail away at 5:00pm. We will be upstairs (in the bar area)

Hi Christina, I don't have Excel...thus the non-request. I love giving my FE gifts out also but I really love the creativity park of making them. I tried to do something totally different than our last cruise. Hope everyone likes everything.

We actually have a cruise on the Magic booked for later this winter.

We also have the Fantasy booked for 10/20/12 (Eastern), but are working on a two week cruise on another line with a friend. If that happens, we will just push the Fantasy one off to a different date.

My Kids would have missed less too, except that I decided to tack on a little WDW at the end. I'm not sure that I'll do a land/sea again. Overall, it's been pricey and I'm feeling a bit crammed with all there is to do.

We usually do something like MNSSHP (going before this cruise) and/or one park day (we'll be doing Food & Wine at Epcot on this trip) when we cruise now. We will hit the major rides in a couple of parks before/after a cruise usually (can't go to FL without going to WDW).

We went down in August though and spent 8 nights down there to get our WDW fix this year. It was very relaxing hitting all the parks over the week. We haven't done that in some time. We usually do a 4 night weekend and hit everything.

Sadly, there were no FLR rates, but we were able to grab a GTY Verandah and ended up with a Cat 4, so we are very happy with that. My mom is here visiting for a few weeks and I tacked the trip on at the end of her visit, so I could keep her here a little bit longer!

Our next cruise is Ruby Princess January 29, 2012. I went a little overboard for 2012 and have us booked on 4 cruises, I try to keep it to only 2 cruises per year so we have time for other trips too, perhaps I can stick to my own rule in 2013

Only about 10 people requested the FE list in Excel and seems like likely only the same people are posting lately. And I still havent heard anything from our TBDs. So why don't we do a little roll call to let us know that you are still with us. Tell us what it is about the FE that you like.

I'll go first. I love going room to room and secretly passing my gift out. Kinda makes me feel like Santa

My kids just love passing out the gifts without being noticed and then racing to the room to see if anyone visited our FE while we were gone...priceless!

You should definitely take advantage of the OBB discount. I've heard of others (and this is what I plan to do) booking the latest, least expensive cruise on the 2012 itinerary while on board, this keeps the deposit low (ex. book a 3n instead of a 7n). Then, when the 2013 itinerary is released you move your deposit (discount will follow) and voila~ you pay less than you would have, had you just waited. Just make sure you book the correct number of rooms, because you will not be eligible for the discount on additional rooms added later.

Edit: Makes more sense now that I see you are also sailing in December....duh. Helps if I read all the words in the message!

We got the POP about 1 week before the dream docs came. POFQ came about 2 weeks ago. Mine came from DU travel. Don't know if that matters. You may want to call, especially if you need magical express tags.

We leave next week also. Got our cruise docs and Coronado Springs packet a few weeks back within days of each other. Still waiting on the DME packet. I have called three times...soon to be four I guess. You might want to call. I hate not being able to be organized.
