10/23/11 - Disney Dream

Tommycruiser, we'll be at the Yacht Club after the cruise. Perhaps we'll see you at stormalong bay? So excited to try out that pool!

garrica - we have booked the Blackbeard stingray excursion at Nassau. Looks like a hoot. But, I think now I may cancel. This is our first cruise and if we get off the ship at Nassau for that, it will be like 5 hours the kids could be trying out the kids clubs. Or, the midship detective Agency. Or character meets. The Aquaduck! Movie theater! There is so much to see and do onboard that I am considering staying onboard this first cruise. But, i do think the Blackbeard stingray excursion looks better (on youtube) than the cc one. More interaction, and a beautiful beach day to boot.

Day one there won't be much time for kids clubs. Day 2, if we did Nassau, same deal. Day 3, cc and pirates night - no time for kids clubs. So, that just leaves some of day 4.

I think we'll stay onboard. We may still do stingrays on cc day ... But then we'll probably need to cancel the cabana couples massages. Sigh. Just so many options.

Sorry for all the posts - but while we're talking documents ... Should we be getting any regarding or pre cruise and post cruise Disney resort stays? i've gotten nothing for those. Just the cruise booklet and pre cruise ME stuff.

I cannot believe how these days are flying by! I am frantic sewing pirate costumes!

Can anyone here help me out with something? I have 3 little boys with autograph books ... but can only drop off 2 items at guest services for autographs/signatures. Is anyone here not planning on using their 2? Or do you think guest services would do all three for me? It's limit 2 items per stateroom, I've heard. Thanks.

Have no idea if they will take 3, but my munchkins are a little past that stage, and I will be glad to do it...

Heck if you let me know who you want I will sign them for you... :lmao:

That's what we're doing since this is our first cruise, staying onboard. We figured since it's only a 4 day cruise on a ship we've never been on, might as well take that time to really get to enjoy it without booking multiple excursions. We'll see how that goes:lmao:

You should get a packet with your laggage tags...one per person and any extras depending one who you booked through. We booked through Disney so we have discounts on meals at Down Town Disney, resort spa, free round of miniature golf...etc. I'm still waiting on the DME info and tags. We have everything else. Can't wait.:yay:

We are flying out on the 18th...5 days at the Coronado Springs resort despite what my ticker says. It was 5 days with deluxe dining at CSR vs. 3 days at the Wilderness.:woohoo:I heard that for a mod...CSR is really nice.:goodvibes

We just did 5 of our 8 nights in August at CSR (went to the Yacht Club for the end of the trip). It is one of two Mods we stay at when going to WDW. PO-R is the other.

We weren't on the dining plan, so we chose the Ranchos section. It has a nice quiet pool and close to the Dig Site (main pool). Plus the theming is nice back there. It would be a bit of a walk to the main building though for food, but it is WDW, so you're walking a lot to begin with. Guess I'd take the Ranchos even if we were on the dining plan.

You'll enjoy it there. :thumbsup2

I don't think so either. Unless I missed it too!

Well I guess we need to get cracking on a meet. I really enjoyed getting to know DIS friends on our 7 night cruise 4 years ago & it all started with a meet our first day......it's fun to get a photo taken of the group too.
Any ideas?

I am creating a different view for our FE list and on this one I have space for which dinner seating you'll be eating.

Anyone want to share your dinner seating?

Tammymacb and SarahLou382 have you received your stateroom assignments yet? Just let me know when you do and I'll update the FE list.
