10/23/11 - Disney Dream

Disney Magical Express. The ground transfers either to or from WDW. They will pick us up at MCO and bring us to our resort. We have a town car that will bring us to the port and then Disney back to MCO.:goodvibes

Hi all, doing the DCL document dance in Massachusetts.:yay:So now I have a question...We are flying SW and have ground transfers to MCO after the cruise. Since SW doesn't participate in the online check-in service, how will we get our boarding passes? Is this one of those print them at a kiosk at the airport situations? Never done this before. TIA.:goodvibes
Linda
Hi Linda:
I thought SW participated.:confused3 On our trip last May we were able to do online check in at the BC for SW the morning we left. THe CM at the BC printed our boarding passes. Maybe this has changed?

Cruise docs has a list of airlines for online check-in...No SW listed. Now I'm at a loss as I haven't flown since 95...so many things have changed.:sad2:Maybe it's because it's from the port and DCL doesn't include SW or visa versa.:confused3

I am stalking our mailbox. I REALLY need a vacation  I am hoping for our cruise docs.

I'm not sure about ME tags. We are staying at BLT post cruise on points we rented from David's. I'm not sure how that will works as it's our first time renting points. :confused3

I've stalked our mailbox ever since I heard fellow crusiers were receiving their docs.:rotfl:This is the first time in 16 years that we will not be taking the drive down the Easy coast. Seems odd to me but DH dared me to put my fears aside and pray for 3 hours instead of taking 3 days to get to Orlando. I called him on it.:dance3:But that left us with how do we get there? Airport limo from Rutland to TF Green in RI...DME from MCO to Disney resort...Town car from resort to DCL...Disney transfers back to MCO and pick up at TF Green to home...Whew!!! You would not believe the money we are saving but don't tell DH.:rotfl2:

The mailman just left but didn't leave our cruise docs. :sad1:
We changed cabins a few days ago maybe that's the reason for the delay :confused3

I'm you'll get them in plenty of time. My biggest worry was that I have a mailman that likes to deliver my mail to someone with my street # but not my street. Unfortunately these people are not very honest and I have lost a lot of merchanise to them.:sad2:

Yikes I think I would have to report losing mail to USPS. I just got a call from my son. They got their cruise docs today. :goodvibes I am hoping for tomorrow :goodvibes

The good news is no one can use anything in those Documents but you..And other then the luggage tags most if not all of the information is available online..

And you can replace the luggage tags at the port from what I have read.. :goodvibes

On to a Travel thought..

To any one who wants to Share. What have you all decided to do in Nassau???

Because we have a b2b planned we have 2 chances to get it right..

My DS & Friend will be doing the Dolphin Encounter at Atlantis

And We are planning a walk to the Queens Staircase and to do The Conch Fritter taste challenge at a couple of the restaurants on Bay road.. popcorn::

We don't have any excursions booked. We will probably just walk around for a bit. Atlantis seems expensive. :scared1: Where are you trying the conch fritters? That sounds like something we might enjoy.

One thing you can consider is spending the $10 and get earlybird check in for your return flight...this way you won't have to worry about checking in the day before the flight. Youcan print up the boarding passes at the airport and be guaranteed a good number

We booked the comfort suites for the first stop in Nassau on the b2b and for the second we will probably just hang out on the ship...

I did get EBC for our flight out and back. I haven't flown in many years and DD doesn't remember...DH just wants to get there:lmao:I simply want us to be able to sit together. I'm still a little scared but I know I can do it.:rolleyes1

We did the Atlantis Aquarium and Casino tour last year. I really enjoyed it (DD was 20 and got to have a drink (18 there) and play some video poker) but it leaves me with what to do next. We thought maybe the Straw Market and the Tortuga Rum Co...I think it's called. Where you get the rum cakes and different flavored rum. Conch Fritters sound yummy. If all else fails I might just stay on the ship and walk around with my camera to get some shots and video...So many things to see, I'm sure.:goodvibes

We flew SW last time we cruised with Disney. Guest services told me that SW refuses to partner with them for the service, not sure why. You're best bet is to pay the extra $10 per ticket so you'll be guaranteed an A boarding.
