We will be celebrating DH's 50th b'day on board (the 25th). Accompanying us will be our DD (11 on cruise), plus my parents, DH's parents, sister, and 3 brothers plus their kids.

That's so funny! The 5 night on the Magic we booked 18 months in advance and the time flew by! I am hoping this will be the same.

That's great you have a 5 year old boy(you're daughter too!) But I will have a 4 year old boy with me and I know he'd love to have friend to hang out with! He's already excited only 2 yrs 6 months now but keeps say "I want to go on a cruise mummy. I want to see Mickey!". We gang ed up on my husband to convince him to go

What rooms have everyone booked in? This being our first cruise were not really sure what is best for us. Right now we have cat 9 inside room booked but are thinking of changing...Any suggestions?

What were you thinking about changing to? Cat 9 is an oceanview not an inside cabin.We are in a Cat 11B. We like to be on the higher decks. I usually like deck 5 because that is where the kids clubs are and I can get my children back to the cabin easily. I did not choose deck 5 this time because the Cat11 rooms are right by the teen hang out and I thought it might be loud. We are midship deck 7. I do not know the room # because my husband threw all of my notes away so I am waiting for confirmation in the mail. I actually like inside cabins because it is easier to get the kids to nap in the darkness.

You are right...I just had my wisdom teeth removed and I think the pain meds are making loopy!!

We were an inside 11B and now I just changed it to a 10A aft on Deck 9. I decided to stick with the inside stateroom too! I was studying the plans on http://www.cruisedeckplans.com and that was what we thought would work out o.k. I tend to have bad motion sickness and people have been suggesting to get a room that is aft of the ship? We will be right close to the elevators so I hope that's not too noisy. I guess in the end it doesn't really matter as long we are on the ship!!

We are in two 11B's right now but really thinking about moving into a 9A for the window seat for my guys but they might be too big by then to really enjoy it.
