10/23/11 - Disney Dream

I know it was last moment but we just found out about these FE's we've had the cruise book forever and thought we had an idea of all the fun things...Still learning, this is our first Disney Cruise and second trip ever to DW. Thank you all who volunteered my kids were afraid we were too late for anything, I had passed our info along to mommyofthreeboys and wait to find out what I need to do and get busy this weekend on those FE gifts. Thanks all..

I have some extras:goodvibes

Good morning folks

One week from today we will be in coco beach:woohoo:

The Dream is in port:yay:

Can't wait to see my aft balcony:cool1:

I know this is last minute, but it's our first Disney Cruise, Me the wife, DS 17, DD15, DD 10 and DS 6. Is it too late to get in on the FE? Is there such a thing as a RAK FE if the list is closed but the family wants to play along?

Thanks for any help. 8 days still seems like forever...
Welcome aboard....we have extra FE gifts also.:goodvibesWhat does RAK mean?:confused3

Last December we had checked into our hotel at the port (Radisson). We were about to go exploring when I heard that very familiar horn and we all ran to our window to see the Magic pull out of port. I had tears in my eyes and a shiver ran down my spine and knew that I was going to experience this magical moment the next day...and I did. When I heard that horn at the sail away party I teared up and I know I shivered but not quite sure if that was from emotion or the 40 degree wind chill.:lmao:Not as cool as seeing her from Fishlips I'm sure but I'll think about you all as I'm about to ride Star Tours for the 10th time.:rolleyes1:rotfl2:

One week from right now, the first of us should be on board or just boarding. :cool1:

Won't be long now.

Hi all...quick question before we leave. When checking into the port do you use TSA approved locks or zip ties? Just curious. TIA:goodvibes

We always use TSA approved locks when we travel as they have a "master" key if they need to unlock it. So far, we've never had a problem. However, my family of 4 has become masters of traveling with only carry ons:cool1:

We don't use either. The only time we've ever locked our luggage using the TSA locks was when we went to Jamaica. :)

We spent most of the day packing and cleaning our house. Got a very busy week ahead. I start a new job tomorrow so orientation/training for me. Meeting with a contractor tomorrow evening to discuss building a house. Tuesday more work training. Wednesday minor surgical procedure for me :scared1: Thursday meeting for my mother's care plan and hair appt :goodvibes Friday going to the airport to stay at the Radisson and Sat flying to Orlando. :dance3:
