we're going to book 2 cruises this time so we always have a "backup" that we can transfer later.

I plan on at least booking 1, just not sure when we will be sailing again.

when we got back from our "family gathering" last month at WDW..both of our kids (ages 33 and 24) were depressed about coming home. Robin and i tried to hide our excitement that we'd be coming back to WDW and a Disney cruise in just 3 months. ( now just a little over 10 weeks!).

we gave them the port canaveral website so they can watch us sail away.

I'm sure the webcam will make them feel so much better. You are such a thoughtful dad.

New Jersey... to goto some appointments for mom. I think it was hotter there that it is here!! (A good excuse for some yummy Italian Ice though!!)

So, from reading other Disboard threads, it doesn't sound like we will have to wait outside the terminal until our check-in time (if it is after 11AM). This is good news since we'll be traveling with his mom. It's kinda ridiculous to limit passengers in the terminal for the classic ships anyway since it was built for that capacity. (And since our itinerary is so empty, we Parleyers will be able to locate each other pretty easily!)

I just read your 2007 trip report. The reports sure explains some of the pictures you've posted! I guess the moral of your cruise is to make sure you lock the door when you use the restroom! You never know who may stumble in!

We're Michael and Michele traveling sans income tax deductions - and they're none too happy about it! But one is a junior at UCF and the other is a senior in high school, so they can't afford to miss a week of school.

We currently hail from Oviedo, FL (just outside of Orlando) and we'll be celebrating our 21st anniversary.

This will be our 7th Disney cruise (6th on the Magic). Our most recent was the 2010 Westbound transAtlantic; what a phenomenal cruise that was!

Tell the Master Guns to stand by for a toast to the Corps! 236th birthday this year - Semper Fi!!!

We're Michael and Michele traveling sans income tax deductions - and they're none too happy about it! But one is a junior at UCF and the other is a senior in high school, so they can't afford to miss a week of school.

We have a senior at UCF (Mechanical Engineering). Oldest son just took his oath today and is joining the Air Force. Middle son is cause of all of our gray hairs but is going back to school at USF. They will all be in different directions so they won't be with us. As a prior Parleyer said, spending our kids inheritance but since our boys will inherit our DVC points they will always be able to go on a vacation!
