10/22/11 Parley!! Will this get me on the ship any faster?

Seeding, feeding, and weeding the flowers. Growing and mowing the lawn. The warm weather is so NICE after such a long winter, that it is great to be able to get outside finally! Unfortunately, I don't have a long enough internet cable to run out to the backyard.

What's everyone else doing?

I was in the dollar store this week and found some plastic Mickey Mouse maracas to use for Cinco de Mayo next week - well, that was my excuse for buying them, at least. (They are for 3-year olds, so they are perfect for me!) I might have to bring these on the cruise for the sail away party, if I can fit them in my luggage.

Ok Wendy...good excuse. You're officially excused.

Good job on the find at the dollar store. BTW...just so you know, you will match up just great with me because sometimes I'm such an 8-year old.

I was busy last night making flight arrangements for Octobers cruise this year. 6 seats sure does cost a lot!!!!

Then got the hotel and car rented for the pre-cruise part of the trip! Cant wait!!

Another good excuse. As long as you promise to post lots of pictures when you come home.

Did you get a direct flight? I know in So Cal you can, here in No Cal never can find them.

Direct flight from LAX-ended up costing around $347/pp which I couldnt pass up. You cant get direct flights?? How many stops do you have???

We can't get them, always have at least one stop. 347 is a great price right now, I'm budgeting 400 a flight for next year.

If I am still here next year for the cruise, flying will be a non issue. I live about a mile away from Providence Airport. In fact, as I type this, I can hear a plane on its takeoff roll!

Oh my goodness! - what an amazing machine! - the lawn is dreadful so I thought I'd give it a go - what a difference! - got 6 sacks of thatch off it so far There would have been more but it started to hail!!! - yep! - hail!!!!! - in May! gotta luv English summertime

Gotta go over it again, then seed and feed it and then sit back and watch the birds eat all the seed Hopefully it'll make a difference. Either way it was very satisfying doing the scarifying

I hear ya Karen. Not only do the birds like to eat it all up, but Cabo (our yellow lab) always loves to trample through anything that is roped off for some reason.

i told Robin, maybe we should have snuck a 4 day Wonder cruise in and 5 days at WDW, but we've been saying we've havnt spent an entire week at the parks for a while so we decided to go that route. (plus Cassie & Kip are going with us).

plus i'm not sure my head is healed up well enough to handle the rocking of the ship.
