question about cruise documents - did you just get one set for your room?

i'm trying to figure out why we got two sets, one for my sister and mom and one for me.

We got just one set for each cabin. Each had the 3 people on it that were assigned to the cabin. Perhaps it's different because you're different castaway club levels?

I thought I posted this on the Oct 18th cruise thread and later discovered I was in the wrong cruise (what a dummy). I was going to delete my post but then it occurred to me that you all may be interested in this topic as well.. I decided to leave it posted...................

I've been reading on the main DCL forum about fish extenders that are stolen and didn't want that to happen to our 10/18 cruisers. Folks put allot of work into these things and it's a real downer to find them missing. They are also saying the magnet signs on the cabin doors go missing.

the thread in the main forum suggests using plastic zip ties to secure the FE to the fish mounted on the wall. As far as the doors signs, the only way to keep those from walking is to personalize them with names and take duplicates just in case. I thought I would pass that on to everyone.

I've been reading on the main DCL forum about fish extenders that are stolen and didn't want that to happen to our 10/18 cruisers. Folks put allot of work into these things and it's a real downer to find them missing. They are also saying the magnet signs on the cabin doors go missing.

the thread in the main forum suggests using plastic zip ties to secure the FE to the fish mounted on the wall. As far as the doors signs, the only way to keep those from walking is to personalize them with names and take duplicates just in case. I thought I would pass that on to everyone.

on my last DCL cruise, I had 2 round DVC magnetic signs that I put above the cabin number to simulate a Mickey head and ears. They were taken.

Any chance Merida will be on the cruise? My dd is obsessed with her right now. I figured she might be too new of a princess to be on DCL, though?

Also, we are thinking of doing a book that the characters sign (http://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-m...m_ciu_pdp_images_0?ie=UTF8&index=0&isremote=0) on their appropriate pages and add pages to the back of the book with characters not in it added (and have it spiral bound for easier access.) Do you think that is something we can drop off at Guest Services at the beginning of our trip to be signed by the characters or is it too much/too complicated? DD has an autograph book from last year so we were really hoping to do something different and not have to wait in line to have all the characters sign when we go to WDW after the cruise. Thanks!

Well, those of you on the 10-21 cruise are in luck, because my husband owns a small manufacturing company that distributes, among other things,.... Zip Ties!! I'll bring some to the cruise meet!

That's a great idea! I can't imagine it would be any different than photo mats or pillow cases!

A friend gave me that idea as that is what they did on their last WDW trip. I just didn't know if the cast members would want to make the added effort of flipping to the appropriate page. Although, they might enjoy looking at the book, so who knows!

I ordered a fish extender today....any tips? I'm not exactly sure how it works.
