10/2/2011 Disney Dream 4nt

Welcome Quentina! It's sounds like things are getting under way...less than a year, people are starting to figure out details, etc. That means it's getting closer. :cool1:
I'm excited to see life on this thread. :cool1: I'm feeling accomplished....this week I booked our rental car (minivan from Hertz) both ways and our hotel the night we arrive in Orlando around midnight, Hyatt at the airport, and the night before the cruise, Residence Inn. Trying to get the best deal possible on everything, so I will keep checking.
About the FE...I think we are going to sit this one out. I know, :scared1:, bad disser. However, since we are doing the b2b it would be double the time and cost and space in luggage, etc. So the kids don't miss out we are going to do a "scaled down" version with just the friends and family we are traveling with. I know those of you that do participate in it will have a blast! We did it on our last cruise and it's lots of fun.

We are booked!!! I can't wait to get on the dream. Its me, my DH, and DD #1 who is 8 and DD#2 who is 3, going to be 4. It really is a dream!!!!! But now that dream is coming true!!!!!!!!!

Where do I start?

Welcome nlginny! Have you ever been on a cruise before? and more importantly, have you ever been on a Disney cruise before? My family has been on lots of cruises, this one will be our 4th (and 5th) Disney cruise. If you have any questions just ask away! Did you get early or late seating for dinner, with little ones you might want to try and get early seating if it's still available.

Hi all! Just booked this cruise. Got off the Magic from the 7 day eastern on Saturday 10/30 - had a great trip and looking forward to sailing on the DREAM. We are interested in the FE and room tour if they occur on this voyage. Room 7518, late dining.

We are so ready for this cruise!!!! Not to mention the wedding! Seeing the dream pictures this weekend made it seem so much more real. My DFs son has never even seen the ocean before and DF for only a few minutes. He saw a pic of the Dream Sunday and couldn't believe it. He is Autistic but is really excited about meeting Mickey.

Hello Everyone,

I just booked this sailing for me and my mother. Very excited to be on the Dream! We would be in for FE as well.

Welcome Scott! I know a few other people have mentioned FE's, but there's no list yet---come on people we only have 10 and 1/2 months to go! :rotfl: My group is not doing FE's this time around (long story), so I'm sitting this one out and just watching to see who steps up to organize it....;)

I am on the organization part! I will step up and run it unless someone out there really wants to do it. If not, I have no problem with it.

Excellent. We have p-l-e-n-t-y of time to figure it out...but I am happy to help as well. I created a spreadsheet on my last cruise that I then incorporated into a .ppt where I took the map of the ship and marked all the cabins that were participating. It really made things easy for us, and I am happy to do it again once we know all the rooms, participants, kids ages, etc., etc., etc......

Anyway, I think most people liked it.

Hi, I have just booked this cruise. This is a post for everyone going on the Dream right?

SOunds great....you seem to already be prepared (I don't even know what a .ppt is LOL). Anyway, lets work together to make this happen!

Sorry! Powerpoint document. That lets me easily add the graphic from DCL and I can then add our specific cabins, participants, etc. in color. When printed it became REALLY easy to map out your route to deliver. I found that on my first time doing and FE I felt like I was just running up and down corridors FOREVER. This gave me an easy "route" to map out.

Is there a list somewhere on here about who is going on this cruise and are they all meeting somewhere on the ship?

I am sure we will set up a meeting as we get closer. I can start making the list if you guys want. I guess if I start it on a post now it will always be on an early page as we go forward and the thread grows. PM me your info and I will add it to the list. So here goes:
