We are booked for 2 cruises on the "DREAM" We board on October 2, 2011 and then reboard on October 6 for a total of 7 wondeful days!!!!

My family of 5 is very excited. This our 2nd disney cruise and we know it will be amazing!!!!

Beat us by a year Celebrate our 7th anny on 10/8... our son's 3rd bday is 10/9!!!

Anybody getting any pixie dust upgrades? Seems like there are several verandah rooms still available so I thought they might be moving some inside or oceanview folks to open up some cheaper rooms.

I check inventory every day because I'm very far forward and thought I might like to switch to midship if another oceanview opens up and there hasn't been one for months but one popped up this morning (7016) also very far forward. Thought somebody might have gotten an upgrade--but it wasn't me!!

No upgrade here...but we are already in a 4C. So, I don't expect it this time around. I know there are cabins opening up because they are finally offering Cast Member rates.

Ship is suddenly not full it seems. Tell tale sign is all the Cast Member rates. that started a couple of sailings ago. I guess with school back in session, people changed plans or something.

You are probibly right. They made the res and then school can always change plans. I am ok with the ship not being full.

i'm having so much fun making FE's for my family's three staterooms! can't shake the beastie boy's "she's crafty". it keeps running through my head as i sit here with my trusty glue gun refusing to break down and sew. packing our FE gifts tomorrow to ship to our staterooms!

planning, packing, crafting, brown paper packages tied up with string, these are a few of my favorite things!

(yes, i am completely aware of how dorkey that sounds and perfectly comfortable with my inner geek.)

Curse you, now I have that song stuck in my head!!!! I am totally with you, I actually woke up - wide awake - at 3am last week and went downstairs to finish my FE and do a little more work on my gifts! Surprisingly, when the kids woke up at 7am, I was sprite and ready for the day... fairy dust travels well I guess!!!

Can't wait, 2 weeks, 2 days TOO LONG!!! Shipping our things out Wednesday - do you think that's enough time, about 10 days? I'm not expediting, but using delivery confirmation Thanks and keep on geeking!!!!

Oh, I also went to a presentation at D23 about designing the Dream and Fantasy! So cool! We got to see the new show going into Animator's Pallate on the Fantasy...I have not even seen the show on the Dream yet and am already excited about the new version! It will be very interactive.

Since you went to D23, Did you happen to see the Robert Olszewsky prototype model of the Disney Dream in the Dream Store? It is supposed to be only sold on the Dream and we are wondering (hoping) it wil be available on this cruise!

DH and i might be going on this cruise too! Just called Disney to asked which cabins are still available. Very last minute but we both have off that week and our 29th anniversary is in October. Have been on the Magic twice and really want to go on the Dream. Going through all the info now, hopefully we will join you all on the cruise!
