Hey everybody. Well I am sitting here tonight knowing full well that the Christmas festivities are going to kick off tomorrow. I wanted to drop in and say Merry Christmas everyone. Cold here in Colorado today. School is canceled. Happy kids. My daughter and 2 grandkids live with us. My7 yr old grandson is beside me talking talking talking about Christmas, Legos and Disney. Makes it hard to consentrate on the computer. Where are his priorities?

Northern NJ. Yes, we lost power for a week from the storm, and when the power came back on we blew a major burnout link and the FD turned it off again...for another week. sigh. We left before it came back on, so when we came home we had a lot of stuff to clean out and up. But all is well now. Just a lot of lost food - no damage to us. My truck was parked next to a car that was squished by a falling tree.

I've always thought handfasting was so romantic. I live in the rural South so I know what you mean by "bizarre laws and fears." I've never quite understood it.

thank you...we are using the Gaelic version, not the Irish one..(year + 1 day contract marriage). The Gaelic version is for life!

I feel a bit behind since we just booked this cruise this week and some people on here have already been a year in waiting!

Traveling with my wife and soon to be 5 yo daughter, this will be all of our third Disney cruise but the first one the daughter remembers (She was 2 and 3 for the others...).

With this being a longer cruise we are hoping to meet some people and be a bit more social than in the past, so this seemed like a good place to start.

Waiting is overrated!! My daughter was excited for her 4th birthday, cuz that meant 5 was next, and when she's 5 she gets to cruise! I hate waiting and would much rather book closer to sail date, but we rebooked from our last cruise for the deals. It's crazy to me how far out people plan, but since everyone does, I felt obligated too!
