Only one Admin for the FB page so she will have to approve any requests to join and unfortunately she has not mentioned what her DIS name is (if she even has one). I would say try another request to the page. She may be away from her FB access.

Hi all!!! I thought I would check in. It's been a while since I have looked at the thread. i noticed that the last post was 2 weeks ago. We are riding out tropical storm Debby. So far at our house we have received over 8 inches. Officially at our airport, they got almost 11 inches.

I wish there was a way to take some of that rain and send it up here to KY, we are several inches short and I never like to see areas flooded.

Yep it sure has been quiet on here lately. Hope all is well with TS Debby. Please send some of that rain up here to Michigan.

I expected the thread to be quiet for a while. The Facebook page has been quiet as well. They both should get very active again once we are about 6 or 8 months from the cruise

Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I've visited the Disboards and this thread, thought I'd check in!
Answering the pet question from months ago, lol, we've got a 15 year old dog named Jazz, nicknamed Roo. She is a mixed breed but kinda looks like a fox or young collie. She's getting old and has extremely selective hearing, lol. We also have a 2 1/2 year old "kitten" named Boo, she is starting to settle out of the kitten phase but is still quite a handful sometimes! I wanted a Disney name for her and got a built in Halloween name too! (I am obsessed with Halloween! Love that this cruise is gonna be so close!)

I love the magnet idea, all things Simba, your design is great!

For FE, (or FFC) I am pinning lots of ideas to Pinterest. I have lots of ideas I'd like to do, but one main one I'm definitely doing. Luckily, it's something I think will be easy to do more of as our group grows and might be pretty cheap per person. Especially if I start buying supplies now. Is anyone else here on Pinterest? I am Kelli Starick on there if anyone wants to stop by!

Hi Kelli! I found you on Pinterest! I haven't pinned a single thing...I kind of freaked out when I joined and then found to my surprise a gazillion people following me...frankly, I didn't know how that happened and then I tried to undo what I had done...anyway, I haven't had a chance to do much with any of it since, until I saw your post and thought I'd check out your stuff. The coasters you pinned were made by a friend of mine for her cruise...in fact, she is on our 10/19/13 cruise as well! I'll keep looking at your stuff if you don't mind and perhaps I'll get around to pinning as well. Thanks for sharing your info.

That cracks me up! Pinterest is so dangerous! I find myself spending hours on it for a few days then nothing for a week or two to recover! I will look out for you!

I saw your board! I tried to follow you, but I don't think it lets you if there are no pins. The one thing I don't like about Pinterest is that you get the email notifications every time you get a re-pin or someone follows you. I wonder if you can turn that off? Just have fun with it and don't worry about people following you, I am pretty sure the site automatically assigns people to you when you sign up.

Some of my pins are directly from the disboards, some I found online. Tell your friend those coasters are awesome! I spent so much time researching when I first started I got a bit frustrated, if I can make it easier for someone that is great!

Hello, all! We're booked for this cruise. It will be our second Disney cruise. Going on the cruise will me, my husband, and our 3 children (Son who will be 13, daughter who will be 7, and daughter who will be 5). Hi! If you go to settings on Pinterest you can change the notifications so you don't get emails every time your pins are repinned.
