Well, that is frustrating!!!! I have actually signed up to receive notifications on a couple different threads and it has never worked. I finally just gave up and bookmarked all the threads I wanted to watch!

Anyway, I have added your info to the FE list. I am updating the original list on page 4. For now, all of our FE info is there. Glad you are joining us!

I will add your screen name to the list. If you want to have any other information listed, just drop me a PM (or post here) and I will update the list!! The information that most people are sending is: how many adults? how many kids? First names-- ages of kids-- home town--- pre/post cruise plans

You can include as much or as little of the above as you would like!

And yes, as the sailing gets closers I will e-mail out a final list of participants and their stateroom numbers. But that probably won't be until the first week of October!!!

I will put more info on here about our before and after plans, etc. We will be arriving in Orlando on the 15th and staying with fam, on the ship we will celebrate my daughters 1st birthday and my birthday as well!! Post cruise, we will be staying on property...thinking pop century and going to MNSSH!

How much do you typically spend/gift?

I am. I am not a port person. Like at CC I will get off for lunch, a ride on Pelican Plunge and back to the ship unless they do 2-1 drinks.

How fun to have a some fellow birthday friends on the cruise, my daughter will be turning 3! we will have to all have a big birthday bash!!! ha ha !What a fun way to turn one!!!

I wanted to throw out the idea of "closing" the FE sign up around Sept 15th or so. It looks like most groups have a closing date so that the numbers are solid and they can prepare the right amount of gifts. I thought Sept 15th would give everyone about a month to prepare. How does that sound to everyone??? We could do it earlier or later if people wanted to....

I'm very cool with this. I kept wondering to myself if there would be a shut off date, but was afraid to ask, because I don't know what the protocol is. I've already bought most of the gifts, giving myself a little oveage for last minute peeps (or squeeks in this case).

I would love to! I haven't really got into the pirate outfits yet, I do at least have pirate hats at this point. I am still trying to do door decorations and FE holder and gifts!!! whew!!! who know there was so much preparation to a cruise!!! but will be worth it!!!

Nope. I am not a fan and you can thank Johny Deep for that. His potrayal of Jack Sparow single handily ruined my vision of a Pirate. I wish DCL would come up with a replacement for Pirate Night.

9/15 sounds good to me.

Staying on the ship in Nassau. Last cruise we visited the Pirate Museum and walked around a bit. I was not impressed with the shopping but do enjoy seeing how different cultures live. DH and DD9 not the least bit interested in getting off the ship; we will just pretend it is another sea day which we enjoy.

We are dressing up for pirate night. We love it!

And we will be staying on the ship in Nassau. I didn't really enjoy it on a few other occasions so I figure why waste that beautiful ship!?! We will be enjoying the pools, movie theater and restaurants instead of touring!

Since this is our first, we're going to do excursions in Nassau and CC. One is swimming wih sea lions, the other is snorkeling. I don't remember which one is which. Scheduling is Selena's world. She'll let me know where to go.

I'm pretty much done with the FE gifts, ideas, gift cards, pirate costumes (except for Selena's). I'm almost done with the door magnets. I'm doing most of those myself, rather than bothering the designers on the board. I did make 1 request to Jordak(sp). I petty much have my clothes picked out. I have no idea how we are going to pack all this stuff.

Yeah, Yeah, I know we are a ways off, but as it gets closer, we'll have enough on our minds that if I pack and get most of this stuff out of the way, we can devote to other things. Like, what the heck am I going to do with the dog.

I am getting so excited. DD Jessica and I have been working on FE gifts this afternoon. We booked Cat12 GTY. Anybody have a guess when we will be assigned a cabin number?
