Arlene - I can't agree with you more... this snow is getting sickening! And I heard someone in the store say that they is more on its way this weekend!!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Rosemary, Congrats on the new ride! What a wonderful way that will be to travel! :moped:
Eric, Glad to hear Gramps is doing Okay!
Arlene, Glad to hear Mom is doing well too!
Tracey, WELCOME to Cruisetoberfest! :grouphug: We too, had chilly weather on our December cruise and are looking forward to warmer weather! While the kids were in the pools swimming, we were wrapped in towels and drinking hot cocoa...that's just not right! :sad2:

Our snow is almost all gone! The kids had a 2 hour delay this morning, but that won't happen tomorrow! I think the rest of the week is dry, rain, rain, dry, rain....so I will put away my snow coat and get out my rain coat and Mickey Umbrella! :umbrella: If it would just warm up again! Shouldn't spring have sprung by now? :sunny: :flower2:

Big Red! Love your photo of the Magic. That's Key West, isn't it. What were you, skydiving when you snapped the photo?! :confused3 :rotfl2:

Thank you, Rosemary. It was actually taken from Paradise Point on St. Thomas on our stop during Cruisetoberfest III. If anyone is interested, I just got all my postable pictures from that trip posted last night. There are a couple of pictures in there from the meeting on "secret deck 7".

Welcome to Tracy and family! So glad to have you join us! :cool1:

Rosemary and Rich, Congrats on the moterhome. Can wait to see it! :moped:

Allen, Thanks for the photo show. The pics of Antigue were great! Such a beautiful island.

Washington DC: We will be there from June 18-25. My family will be staying with my sister in Falls Church. And we will be touring the city everyday. We can't wait for a mini-meet. Any ideas for a place to meet?

Later, Avé

Hi all! I just wanted to add our name to the list of 10/14/06 cruisers. Looks like we will be cruising with a fun bunch of people! Can't wait to meet all of you! My family consists of myself (33), my DH(40), DD (age 6 at time of sailing) & DS (age 3 at time of sailing). We are in room 6556 & have early dinner seating.

We just returned from the 02/26/05 Western cruise & I have to say, the cruise was great but the weather was a bit chilly! Looking forward to the warmer October weather. I'm also looking forward to my DS being able to go to the Oceaneer's Club with his big sister. :cheer2:

Snow? What snow? :confused3 :rotfl2:
We reached the two-digit-range temperature-wise yesterday (10°C/50°F), and today 15°C/59°F are forecast. The skies are blue and I will drive with the top down later :teeth:
I will leave the office early today at 2:15pm as we have our semiannual check-up at our dentist's followed by a treatment by our dental hygienist - Hi Jenn :wave2: business for your German colleague :p

Allen,

What BEAUTIFUL pictures......

I  the tree/sunset one best...

Bette

Welcome aboard Tracey and family. You have joined some of the nicest people on the planet. More like family than friends. Mike

Rosemary and Rich - congrats on the new motorhome. Jim is going to be so jealous. We went to a motorhome show a few months back. We toured the ones worth $400,000 but actually preferred the cheaper variety. Some day.

Bette - good to see you posting.

Welcome Tracy and family. This is a great bunch of people.

The snow is not going away here although the temperature was above 0C yesterday (it was 1C). We'll have the same temperature all week probably so a little bit will melt and then freeze overnight. Yuck, yuck, yuck.

Fiona

Jenn,
our dental hygienist told us to say Hi to you :wave2:
But there's bad news too: I have to ahve a crown and a bridge replaced. Not right now, but sooner or later. I guess, I'll have it done in May. I will get an estimate for the cost later this week :scared1:

And here's some good news: I just got an email from AOL: I won two tickets for Miiss Congeniality 2, starring one of my favourites, Sandra Bullock :cheer2:  So Anja and I willl watch it on Monday.

Congrats Viking on the tickets. I'd like to see that movie as I loved the first one and have it on DVD.

Here's a joke for everyone:

The Inheritance

Due to inherit a fortune when his sickly, widower father died, Charles decided he needed a woman to enjoy it with.

Going to a singles bar, he spotted a woman whose beauty took his breath away.

"I'm just an ordinary man," he said, walking up to her, "but in just a week or two, my father will die and I'll inherit 20 million dollars."

The woman went home with Charles, and in four days she became his stepmother.

Men will never learn.

Fiona

Allen -- Great pictures! Thanks for sharing. I agree with Bette. My favorite is also the sunset scene with the palm tree.

Fiona -- Loved the joke!

Kathy's nephew is being deployed again to Afghanistan. This will be the second time that he is going there. He has also been to Iraq for a year. Such is the life of a soldier.

Kathy has also been under the weather today. I think that she is getting a cold from Katie. One thing about children, grandchildren and our furry four legged friends if they can give you something they will. :confused3 Although the four legged friends may leave you blessings on the floor if you do not get them out in time.

Fiona how can you tell if a blonde has been at your computer? The screen is covered in white out.

:rotfl2:

SPRING HAS ARRIVED!!! :sunny: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:
Blue skies, 17°C/62°F, and even higher temps forecast for the next days :sunny: :cool1:

looks out the window at the gray skies, traces of snow and a breeze.

NOPE!! Not spring here yet! Enjoy the nice weather Eric! Make a run in the ragtop just for me!

It was close to 80 degrees here last weekend (even got a sunburned face at the girls' soccer games), now its raining and their calling for a snow/sleet/rain mix tomorrow. YuK! DS is leaving today for Florida with his friend's family and going on Carnival next week to the western caribbean...wonder if I can fit in his suitcase??? Although it'll be interesting to hear his comparisons when he gets back.
Videoman- Sorry we'll miss you, but tell Barb and the girls that our girls are psyched to see them this weekend! We'll give you a call tonight or tomorrow to iron out the details. :flower:
Laura

Morning everyone. The sun is shining and to go into the 40's. I have now removed my outside snowman decorations and put up the St. Patrick Day flag and door decoration.

Amazing Race was so good last night. Rob has to be one of the best players they have ever had strategy wises. I hate those food roadblocks they are so gross. I wonder how many hours it actually took for people to eat all of that. I did not want Alex and Lynn to finish 1st I wanted the other couple to get 1st place. I need Alex and Lynn to get eliminated as they are so annoying, all they worry about is beating Rob and Amber. On the AR thread someone noted that there was no prize this time for finishing 1st this time. Mom/Son are also on my list of people who need to be eliminated.

Back to the real world of work.

Nancy

Wow, you're right about there not being a prize for the first team in AR! Is that the first time it happened? I haven't been watching since the very beginning, but I can't ever recall there not being a prize.
