Rosemary and Richard...glad to hear you are going to make it to Cookie Night! Just for fun I went to Travelocity to see what the airfare would be and it surprised me! $194.00 which is very reasonable, but, by the time I add in hotel, rental car ect, it makes the cost about double that.

Anyone looking at a Hilton Head vacation in the coming months?We usually go for a long weekend in Jan or Feb (or both). It would be fun to have a DIS meet there.

Hi everyone! Thanks for the anniversary wishes! We are going to celebrate tomorrow night, having and anniversary on a Thursday night is too hard to go out and enjoy! If anyone needs a place to stay for cookie night, we have an extra bedroom! Cookie night is an amazing sight to behold!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!! Bye for now

LOL.. Jeanneg....A cookie St. Joseph???? A stolen 6' concrete statue? This keeps getting better and better. Maybe you could buy a statue of St. Joseph, wrap it in plastic without removing the price tag, and bury it. Then when your house sells, dig it back up, and return it for a full refund. Mary Jo I hope you have LOTS of Holy Water. Or we will all burn in He**.

Ave: LOVED your idea about burying St Joseph in plastic and then returning him.........I don't think I ever returned anything to Dollar Tree before! And I AM serious about buying him there......is one St Joseph more "real" than another just because he costs more? That doesn't seem very Christian to me. Actually I think I'll just send him on to Mary after I sell my house and let her keep him until she sells hers....kinda like "Tag, you're it" with St Joseph. Keep that holy water coming, Mary Jo!

Charity Ball last night was the worse so far. Not that the ball itself is that bad but when you advertise dinner at 7:30pm and serve it closer to 9:00pm you can have some pretty hungry people. It's hard to mingle when your stomach is growling. They auctioned off a street name that went for $3600! You got to win the right to name a street in a new subdivision. Interesting concept but for $3600 I'd rather sail on the Magic or go to WDW!

Am at work today for a couple of hours to try and get caught up so I guess I'd better get to it!

NO Hotel Or Car Needed We Will take Care of It All..

And We have An extra Vehicle if U Wish To Drive Off Some Were..

Mike-- Thanks for the cell phone list.

Mary-- HH would be fun! We're not going until mid-June though. We like the hot weather and spend most of the week at the beach and in the pools. Josh does get a long weekend in mid-Feb., but the drive down for a weekend is a killer for us....13 1/2 hours each way.

Hi Folks,
first time online at home since Wednesday, could only pay some short visits to The Boards during breaks at the office.
We were so busy with moving Gramps to his new place, but now nearly everything is done. It was hard for him as he has lived at the old place since 1939!!! Imagine that So a lot of memories were left behind. But the new place is so much better: An elevator, everything very wide to facilitate moving around with a walking aid, a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower without any steps, a raised commode, etc. Fortunately we were able to use most of his old furniture, so the place looks at least a bit familiar.

Know exactly what you are going through Eric. We have been helping Stacey and her Eric paint their house and still have a ton stuff to do. I will do a revision on the cell phone list in a day or two. I sent the cellphone list to the ones that had sent me their numbers. Mike

Cookie Night...thank you for the kind offer Peter and Jen, but even without the added expense of hotel and car, I will not be able to come. We are on a STRICT "no credit card" policy and with the holiday coming we don't want to be left short.

Eric, I'm sure your grandpa will feel "at home" in no time!
