The additional perks were 10% discount on shops onboard the ship (not sure exactly which ones are included) and another 10% off Castaway Cay rentals.

Jeanneg--- You are to0 funny. St. Joseph otherwise know as Jesus's dad. I think there is only one St Joseph. I do think he probably has more Catholic churches named after him than anyone. In our diocoese there are 3 of them plus 3 St Jospeph Catholic schools. You better get out there and buy the real thing, other wise your house bid may only be the size of someone buying a PLaymobile set.

I can't get over how some of the AAA TA's are giving people such a hard time. I had no problem and was told that change was made after Disney started giving out free soda. The perk from AAA had been free soda mug. The $150 to me is so much better than soda. However, I wasn't told about the extra perks. But I would think all AAA would have the same thing, since it comes from the National AAA.

Got to go my outpatient is here.

Thanks Jeanneg -- We haven't transferred our reservation to anyone and are still thinking about doing so.

I already transferred my reservation to AAA and would just like to know how do you get the 10% off the shops and CC. Do you have to show your AAA card or what??

jeanneg...now that I've sprinkled your post with holy water (only kidding...we are not that religious!)..I honestly don't think that the playmobile version would work...might also be a little tacky. BTW..the Catholic Church that we belong to is St. Joseph's!! So maybe when I'm at Mass, I could leave my St. Joseph a note in church!! He is actually my favorite patron saint since my dad was Joseph and part of my name is derived from my mom's devotion to St. Joseph (and no, I don't spell it "Joe"). My other favorite saint is St. Anthony since with my memory, I can never remember where I put things so I am constantly praying to him as he is the saint of lost things!! (and he usually comes through for me!!)

Thank God it is Friday. Real chilly here today. No snow flurries my way but I'd bet that GoofyNut had frost on her car and lawn today and maybe even a few flurries.....think that GoofyNut is MIA!!

Boss is off to Florida for three days next week and you know what that means......three days in house vacation for me!!

Van and Debbie...wonderful news!:bounce:

Tracy...cookie night is a party being thrown by Kim and Bette in N.H.

9 days to go until we will be going to Darlington to watch the Southern 500 NASCAR Race. Then in 19 days we head to Washington DC to spend Thanksgiving with my oldest sister and her family.

I'll have to try the St Joesph thing when we put the house up for sale in a few months. As hot as the real estate market is in Charleston right now, I don't think we will have to much trouble, but a little extra help can't hurt!:earseek:

OK, so I won't use the Playmobile one......do you think I could find a "real" St Joseph at Dollar Tree? They should be getting in all their Christmas stuff by now and it would be at a price I'm willing to pay. Better yet, maybe Kim and Bette can bake me a St Joseph cookie and I could use that.........

Arlene: Honestly, I have no clue how the discount works. When I call next week to link the dinner seatings I'll ask.

Mary Jo: We must know the same little prayer.....I honestly think poor St Anthony must get tired of me calling on him so much. It's like "Oh no, that one again....she can't remember **it!" (ha,ha this time I censored myself)

My ever so minor request......

Can we please end the talk of politics? As minor as it may be, it is the LAST thing I want to read on the Disboards.........
Agreed.

They are Jasper (4-1/2) all white, Siamese mix and Hera (3) a black and white, shy sweetie. Jasper is sleeping under the computer desk right now and Hera is in her box upstairs...........
Ah!! Best wishes with your new babies!

IMHO we should use the web-site for the pictures and for helpful links, i.e. land excursions in Cozumel & Costa Maya, hotels at the Port (RonJon, Radisson), our thread, our mailboxes, etc.

Happy Anniversary, Jen & Peter :cheer2: :drinking1 :thewave: :cheer2:
Prefer to keep private info off internet too.

Jen and Peter having an anniversary? I musta missed it. Best wishes!! How many years???

:cool1: :cool1: YES! We get to go to cookie "night" Can't wait! :cool1: :cool1:

Jeanne--- I am LOL sitting out my desk reading this. Mary Jo is going to have to sprinke holy water again on your post. You had better get your buns in gear and go to the Catholic store and buy a Real St Joseph. At this point, you will be lucky if the real one is even willing to help you. I could steal the 6' concrete one in front of my church and have Peter and Sam come dig the hole for it. My coworker wonders if I can just send you a picture of it instead and see if that works. Maybe we can send you all the St Joseph church bulletins and bury them.

Mary--- Thanks for asking about my back. I am much better. The cruise really helped. So if it happens again I think the first course of treatment should be a cruise. Enjoy the race, I will look for you in the crowd. Go Jeff #24 or Dale #8.

Has any of my fellow PA friends gone to the Christmas display and crafts in Bethelem, PA? I was reading about it and it sounded interesting

Have a great weekend everyone. Mine will be spent raking and blowing leaves.

padisney my dad and I love to watch Nascar, and we are big Dale Jr. fans. We don't like Jeff Gordon though. My dad thinks that everyone likes one and hates the other. I guess that there are sone people that can stand both. I am looking forward to seeing you wins the cup. GO #8

My DD6, last year in kindergarten, came home from school and told me that a race car driver came to school that day. I asked her "who" and she said, "Dale somebody". I said Dale Earnhardt Jr.? She said, "Yeh, that's who". He came with his sister, Kelly, to dedicate a rock wall at the school. (His shop is a few miles from school). I joked with my DH that growing up in school that we had visits from police officers and mailmen(nothing wrong with that of course:)) She gets famous race car drivers! Lucky, huh?

Everyone who sent me their cell phone number, please check your email to retrieve your list. Please let me know it their are any corrections to be made. Mike

We would REALLY like to see Mark Martin win this year. He has come SOooo close (FOUR 2nd place finishes) to winning the championship, and this may be his last chance since he will be retiring after next year.Dale and Jeff have lots of years left to race.Of course I am not "feeling sorry" for any of them. I have a rule: "Never feel sorry for anyone who owns their own airplane!!!" LOL!

Happy Aniversary Peter and Jen!
