I have finally started packing. So how many suitcases will we need for 3 nights in DW and 4 nights on the wonder... If I had my way, at least 10. But I am going to do my best to only bring 2.

Have only packed away a few odds and ends, but told the kids today they would have to start thinking about what clothes they wanted to take! It has not gone down well!

We drove down to Norfolk today and saw the Magic in dry dock...Wow the ship is huge. I can't believe we are on her sister in 4 weeks and on her in a year.

Here are the rest I was able to process tonite. I will add more tomorrow.

Wow - you definitely got me excited! I'm in OHio - we got the outer bands of the hurricane yesterday! It was horrible. No rain - but really high winds. Power went out in the middle of the Steelers/browns game - and came on just a few minutes ago! I took a 4 day weekend from work and it rained 3 of the 4 and today - although beautiful, it was boring with no power.

I just checked and it looks like with our new itinerary the Majesty and Elation will be in Nassau with us. With the old itinerary we where going to be the only ship there. I can't find our cruise on DCL anymore Does this mean it is all booked up??

I think I read somewhere that when the cruise is no longer listed it is sold out or this is when they are close to capacity and will begin upgrading to get the lower cabins freed up so if your looking for an upgrade now is when you should start looking, just don't count on it.

We pulled our suitcases out today to air them out and start packing.... We leave in 25 days...Anyone staying at the Radisson before we sail (I forget if anyone else said they were)? John and I will be there late Friday night and Saturday night. Car goes in to the dealership next week for oil change and check-up... I can't stop planning in my head now... just 24 more sleeps, just 24 more sleeps hehehehe

Reny - We are staying at the Residence Inn about a block from the Rad. I changed the oil in the car last weekend. No we are not looking for an upgrade, we like where we are. Just checking on how full the ship is getting. Looks like it will be completely full.

Yes you can bring Alcohol on the ship but you must bring it in your carry-on, you cannot pack it any longer in your suitcases. They changed the rule to carry-on only about 3 months ago.

Hey all... sneaking on here from work to tell you that John just called and our Cruise Paperwork from DCL came UPS today



It's real, it's really happening....

Our documents arrived today, too!!

It seems to me like we have been waiting and counting down for so long and now it is almost here. I still have a long list of things to get done before we go and only a little over three weeks to do it in!! It's all the stuff I have been putting off--now I can't put it off anymore!

Us three Went to Macy's and bought a couple shirts and shorts for DH, a bunch of shorts for DS (he outgrew everything over the summer), and a dress for dressup night for DD. Time to start packing

hey I am feeling left out, nothing here yet, and my DD decided to start coming down with a cold. What is up with that? I have tried to explain to her that the trip is coming and she is not allowed to get sick. Kids they never listen.

Back after a hectic summer with no (!!) Internet access. Our doc's have not come yet either although I did get notice of an itinerary change so at least that's something. Can't believe how fast it's coming up.
