I submitted the Mickey cruise logo to Zazzle.com to have them make the shirts so I don't have to. They just called me to tell me that they can't make them because of copyright infringement. I explained that someone drew the pic of Mickey, but that didn't work. I am not very happy. Now I'll be like everyone else and be making ours.:(

Reneé

Reneé, got our magnets today. Thank You! They're wonderful!

Spiderman 2 was GREAT! Both DH and I had to work Sat. But I got the tickets on my way home. When DH got home at 5pm I said you have 30 minutes to shower and get ready. We then went to an Italian Rest. close to the theater for dinner. The food was excellent. Then drove to the theater, got our seats, with our popcorn, cokes and blankets and settled in. I can't remember enjoying a movie this much. Great special effects, great story, and great ending!

The kids start back to school on Aug. 5th, so I have to start getting ready for that big transition. Shopping for school clothes, and supplies. Yuck.;)

Got to run.

later,
Avé

:mickeybar:mickeybar:mickeybar:mickeybar:No drinks Renee? How about a mickey bar? We ordered one as our "second dessert" one night. Gotta love 'em!

OH....all those mickey bars made me forget why I was posting. The magents are great! Thanks so much Renee! Between the mickeybars, magnets and the fact that I just sent my final payment to DU my head is spinning! Yipee!

Hope that everyone had a great day. It was hot as blazes here today temps in the 90's with a heat index of over 100. Mike

Thanks for the magnets Renee. They are great. Mike:mickeybar

Renee, we got the magnets! Thanks so much! Can't wait to put them on the cabin door!

Nancy, re RCCL cruise next year. We have not yet picked a date, but we are going to do the Western. End of Oct. is a possibility.

 I want to thank everybody for the B/D wishes for my hubby. He got a kick out of them.

Love the magnets ... got them in my "MUST TAKE ON THE CRUISE" box. I didn't want to have a senior moment and forget them for our cabin door.

Our "MUST TAKE ON THE CRUISE" box is where I put the important stuff, the door magnets, the Serenity Bay Arsenal, the name tags for our group, etc, etc, etc. Am I the only one that's started to "gather"?

Had a great time with MaryJo, Sam and Sarah at a baseball game on Saturday ... even got Art's name up in "lights" for his birthday.

Then we got home and had no water... not even a dribble. We live in a rural area and have well water. Our water pump pooped out. So Sunday we went waterless and Monday we shelled out $701 for a water pump.

Funny part was that I had to run out and get some bottled water to drink and now AshLee thinks she's royal, drinking the good stuff! Actually our well water is really good, like spring water ... except for right now till things settle down. Thank God we have a filter system, cause we'll have to change that a lot for the next week or so.

OK ... I'm off my soap box now!

So when is it we cruise again!!!!!!!

Nope, you're not the only one! I've had a box that I've been adding to for a couple of months. Can you tell that I really want to be on this cruise??

Reneé...thanks so much for the magnets...we loved them. Thanks also for the moose magnet...I will look longingly at it and maybe take it with me the next time that I go to Bette's to remind myself that there really are moose in NH!! Also wanted to let you know that I loved the knob--I was sitting at my desk snickering to myself--sometimes, I think that my boss thinks that I am losing it!!

Hallo Renee,
vielen Dank für die Magnete :wave2: translation:
Hi Renee,
thank you very much for the magnets

I love them ::yes:: Anja hasn't seen them yet as she's working the lateshift again. I think I'll put them on the fridge and wait for her to discover them ;)
I also thought about putting them in our large 'Do-Not-Forget-Bag', but I just added them to our checklist to ensure that we bring them. BTW, our checklist consists of 4 pages already :p

Cathy, I guess after Cruisetoberfest III DCL will have to update all maps of Castaway Cay with TBFKASB:
The Battlefield Formerly Known As Serenety Bay :teeth: :jester:

We have a cruise box as well. Emptied stuff from last year right into it for this year so it's been around for a while. Have to move the magnets into it so that they don't get forgotten.

Love the new picture of Haley -- keep forgetting to mention that.

We are awaiting the appearance of the new addition to the family. SIL is due on the 22nd but would cheerfully deliver anytime now.

At dinner last night with DS was talking about the cruise (to which he still has no interest but I keep trying). He said to me "don't worry mom when I'm rich I'll set you up with your own cabin on the disney cruise and you'll never have to get off!". Thought that was cute.

DS saw a Ferrari yesterday driving home but it was yellow so DS explained about colouring coding of Ferrari. Me, I wouldn't have spotted the car at all. Luckily he didn't ask for that for his birthday!

Can't wait for the cruise to get here. 11 weeks tomorrow we leave for Florida.

Fiona

Eric,

I can't believe you got the magnets already! I mailed them the same day I mailed everyone else's. The guy at the Post Office said you might get them in about 7 days, maybe! Wow, I think that's a record.

BTW - there wasn't any postage due on them was there? When he figured it out, he said "that should be the right amount for Germany. If not, then you'll find out". Then he laughed. Sometimes I just hate going to the Post Office. I think they have a warped sense of humor.

Reneé

Postage was fine. Anyway, the German Postal Service wouldn't be allowed to take extra-postage. According to my knowledge the international laws regarding postage only the American Postal Service could have stopped it before leaving the US, returning it to you and asking for more postage. As soon as it has left the country of origin the multilateral postal treaties make sure that it arrives. It is asssumed that there's as much traffic leaving any country as entring the respective country, thus balancing everything.
I must admit I was also surprised about the quick delivery. But four weeks ago I also sent a letter containing two T-shirts to Minnesota on a Thursday and it arrived next Monday.
We often order stuff from Amazon.com in the US and it usually needs less than a week.

An elderly couple were on a cruise and it was really stormy. They were standing on the back of the boat watching the moon, when a wave came up and washed the old woman overboard. They searched for days and couldn't find her, so the captain sent the old man back to shore with the promise that he would notify him as soon as they found something. Three weeks went by and finally the old man got a fax from the boat. It read: "Sir, sorry to inform you, we found your wife dead at the bottom of the ocean. We hauled her up to the deck and attached to her butt was an oyster and in it was a pearl worth $50,000 . . . please advise." The old man faxed back: "Send me the pearl and re-bait the trap."

NOTE TO THE MALE CRUISERS ... There will be no "re-baiting" on OUR Cruise!

There's no need for re-baiting - We'll be satisfied with baiting :teeth:

How cute! I was in college before I knew water wasn't suppose to have those floatie pieces of iron on occasion. Just thought it was a supplement. lol!

Hey Everyone!
Got off work early today!:Pinkbounc So I didn't have to fight the traffic. Getting Very excited about the Cruise now that I have my magnets! Got them hanging on the frig, along with last years. Even DH is starting to talk about it. DD is getting PADI certified this weekend. So she will be ready to dive with the big kids. LOL

Also starting to plan my next family vacation, which will be a week in Washington, DC next summer. One of my sisters lives in Falls Church, VA. and she is hosting next years family reunion. So I've been checking out hotels, airfares and car rentals.

I don't have a cruise box, but I am starting to get some things together.
Fiona, love what your boy said. DD told me that when she becomes a doctor she will send me on the longest cruise I can find. As long as it's not a slow boat to China, I'll take it. First have to find a way to get her through Medical school on a nurse's income.:teeth:
Cathy...love the pearl joke! You are so bad!
:smooth:
Later, Avé
