Great to see the pictures on the home page, Eric! Nice to know what some of the Antigua Diser's look like. That will really help at the sailaway party. Unfortunately, I don't have a digital camera and can't send you pictures of Sam and me. (Is digital the right word??) Even if I did have one, I probably wouldn't be able to send the pictures anyway since I am pretty much of a computer illiterate.

Back to work tomorrow. Not sure if I can work a full day. I feel fine but keep falling asleep for 3 hour naps every afternoon.

If you want to, I can mail you my snail mail and you just send me pic. I can scan it for you and put it online - No problem.
And here's a tip: I just saw your second post adding that "speedy" to the "recovery". If you discover a mistake in one of your previous posts, just click on the edit-button in the lower right corner of the respective post. This enables you to make changes/deletions/additions. And if you do it within a couple of minutes after having posted it, nobody will see it. If you do it later, a message will appear saying "this post has been edited by JeannieC Date/time".

OMG We missed your birthday-Bette. I am just so sorry. Hope it was a really nice one and you behaved and listened to your doctor. There will be plenty of time to be "bad" when we cruise.

Had a really nice quiet Easter and then got a word to turn on the Food Channel to see the behind the scenes of WDW food - OMG!
Now Art said we need a Disney Fix. (Thank's Mike!) I always wanted to know just how they can keep those Mickey Ears so hard in the parks and also just where the heck do you get such big turkey legs.

Eric ... got your e-mail to my AOL but when I tried to open it, it was blank. Can you resend (about the ha ha's)? Unless of course it was meant to be blank as a German April Fool's Joke.

Eric -- Thanks for the info about editing. As I said, I am pretty illiterate with computers even tho I have worked with them for years. If you send me your snail mail address, I can look for a picture of the two of us together and send it to you. But, how will I know how much postage to put on it? I guess the post office can tell me that. Also, if I find a picture, can you send it back after you scan it as we have VERY few pictures of the two of us. Does the size matter for scanning purposes? I guess I could have emailed or sent you a pm instead of posting to the board, but since I have gotten this far, I will just post it. Thanks again!

I just sent you my adress - Looking forward to your letter.
Sizewise I'd recommend usual picture-size, in Germany it would be a 9x13, but as we use civilized units of measurement(centimetres in this case) I'd say you should go for something in the range of 4x6 inches The filesize will then be determined by the resolution I'm going to use.

BTW,
talking about pictures:
It has become kind of a tradition for me to produce 10 exclusive CDs containing pictures from Germany, Disneyland Paris, all issues of The List and the pictures of all the cruisers sent to me for the homepage.
These CDs will be given away on a first-come/first-serve-basis. Everybody who wants one, should send a short mail to my private email-account as shown on The List or state his/her wish here on the thread.

No snail-mail required - As it will also contain all the Lists before 9/11/04 and all the pics sent to me for the homepage, I won't toast the discs before last weekend in August/first weekend in September. All the CDs will be given to each of you PERSONALLY by me

Help! Does anyone dive? My Dh wants to go (which means learning how and getting certified prior to) and I was wondering if anyone has gone on any dive tours ofered by Disney? Do you get to dive a lot or iwould it be better to just snorkel? I know we have to take quite a few classes, so we have to get started soon, and was looking for some opinions from those who know or know those who would! Also, has anyone seen anything on excursions while in Antiqua? Thanks, Denise

Hope you had a good birthday Bette and you were good with your back (but bad otherwise)!

Just tried to call to arrange physio for my DS but nobody answered the phone so am not sure if they are open today or not. He's anxious to start so that he can start putting weight on his foot again. The bruises are really coming out though.

Back to work. Boy do I not want to be here today. Nice and sunny out today although still a tad cool.

Denise, My DH dives, and my DD is getting certified this summer. Last year my family, twin sister's family and Eric and Anja did a combination dive/snorkle trip in Cozamel. We had 3 divers and 7 non divers. The trip was nothing short of fantastic. OK, the boat could have been a little nicer, but it kind of grew on you. But this was a trip my sister booked online with a very small operation, not connected to Disney. Sis and I have been activily looking for a similar trip in either St. Thomas or Antigua. I've sent a few places e-mails, but no responses yet. I would be happy to let you know if we find anything interesting.
Jeanniec, don't feel like the only one not getting this computer stuff. Last year I had my sister send the pictures. I can't remember if she used the computer or regular mail. The post office will tell you what the cost of mailing a letter is. Last time I mailed one to Germany it cost about $1. Depends on the weight.
