Cathy,
Nancy posted just yesterday!!!
And I don't to have bring my torpedoes through customs: I'm touring the South before the cruise and I'm sure that they will supply me with enough weapons if I promise to shoot at Yankees only :jester:

BTW,
talking about Nancy: My last mail bounced back from your mailbox, Nancy. Shall I send it again or do you want to provide me with another adress?

Eric--- I did get an email from you this weekend from you about the St. Thomas diving trip. Did you send another one after that? If so just resend to my aol account. I think sometimes the emails are going to the spam file for some reason which I can't seem to even get into.

Yes, Cathy after lurking for over I month I did finally post. Nice that you missed me.

Finally could wear spring clothes to work today. First day it has been warm enough for capri pants. Yea.:sunny:

Short work week only 3 days since we are going to Williamsburg. It will be so nice just to get away.

Have a good week everyone.

You better be careful....remember there are some die-hard Yankees that just so happen to live in the South!

I seem to remember SOME one getting caught messing with the stuff on the doors!! No names will be mentioned..... :hyper:  :Pinkbounc

I SO wish we had a camera to capture her reaction when she was caught! LOL!!

Hello all. Here is the info from www.adventureantigua.com regarding the questions I asked about others getting on the tour for 5 Oct and what shops may be around....

We only use one boat with a max of 25 people. We still have lots of space left and I am sure that if your extra friends book now you will be with all of them for October 5th on the Eco Tour. There are shops in Heritage Quay and Redcliffe Quay which is right where your ship docks and they close around 4:30 - 5pm, we will have you back by 4:15pm the latest right next to your ship and the shopping areas. Let me know what their names are and how many there are.

I will leave the booking up to those who would like to go. You can book on line through their site or you can also contact them at info@antiguaadventures.com They offer a 10% discount off the $90 price for those who book online. If anyone books, post it here so we know!

We just bought a sony handycam for the cruise! Can't wait to use it on the trip! I think the dog is getting tired of hamming up to the camera...he's the only thing we've recorded so far!

Two-foxes...Too funny about your dog!

Just found out about some shows at Epcot that will be playing during our trip in May. Flower Power concert....The Animals, and the next night, Paul Revere and the Raiders! Sorry to be missing Dave Mason and Arlo Guithrie, but hay we'll try to make due.:jester:
Later, Ave'

Nancy,
that was the mail I was talking about. Perhaps the Spam-filter generated this message. I'll ignore it in the future.

Jill,
I just booked the eco-tour for Anja and me, using 'Viking' as party-name. I guess they will supply me with the secure link for the deposit soon and I'll transmit the data from home tonight. Thanks for all the info

No Peter,
we haven't seen the sub so far. Where is it?
We just saw some old engine parts when snorkeling in Serenity Bay.

Cathy & Art...

Thank-you !!!!!!:sunny:
What a lovely surprise from some lovely friends.:)

Things are progressing well in the McBride Hospital....I am,in fact, back to 'normal'...(not sure what that means).....Kevin is on the upward swing...ribs hurt of course, and his arm is not fully mobile, but all else is much better...

Thanks again to you and to so many of our "BEST" cruiseing buddys for all theire thoughts...

Bette

:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: BRING ON THE CRUISE !!!!!!

DS is progressing as well. He came upstairs to say goodnight without crutches! He's probably pushing it a bit but the swelling has gone way down and the bruising is starting to fade except by his toes. He's been doing his exercises which is good because he really wants to be back playing basketball asap.

Work is busy which is good. Just went over the calendar with another lawyer in the office -- he gave me a scare when he said you know fall might not be a good time for vacation as we are going to be busy. This is true but I'm still going, this year. Might not be able to go next year though but I'll worry about that later.

Must go get DS up and going.

Fiona

Ave' -- when are you going to WDW? We leave May 1 with our DD, DS and DGS. It will be fun to get together for a family vacation again. Now that the kids are older, we don't do that very often. Staying at OKW and will do all the parks so we are able to watch the magic in our DGS's eyes -- especially at MK, of course! When the two of us go, we don't do much in the way of parks.

Eric -- Do we need to duck? Are transplanted midwesterners (Chicago) Yankees who will be shot at? By the way, I got your address. Meant to send a picture over the weekend but never got to it. Need to look for one first.

Fiona -- Glad to hear that your DS is doing so much better. Great news!

Kim -- Whatever happened to the tour, shopping, beach vacation? Did we ever get enough people for a busload?

Bette -- It's great that you are feeling almost back to normal!

Jeanne,
no need to duck - That is as far as I'm concerned, but who knows what Cathy is stocking her arsenal up with  :jester:

Hi Guys, Kim here...

Cathy, Kathy, Ave, Mary and any other ladies interested...

This is mostly geared toward the ladies in our group , I found a source for those nice foam balls that Viking used to get people with last year on the adult beach, I couldn't help myself and had to order some since they were so dirt cheap... Anyone ladies interested in having a couple ????, I also found some really cheap beach sport toys for the water that float, any interest in a water toy ?? My thought is I am not bringing these things back home with me, I will find some child and pass off the toys when we are finished and then the kids parents have to figure out how to take the toys back ( LOL)....

Back to work...

Kim

RE ... Fun and games on Serenity Bay ........... Don't worry, you won't see these people again (NOT). Kim, that's the good part of bringing "toys" and giving them away to the kids ... we have to stay on the good side of the kids cause we need someone to blame our childish antics on!

Rosemary ... Just maybe that "person" that was at your door was
just putting your stuff back in order for you :earseek: (Is that the face you were thinking of?) Oopsy!

Bette -- we missed you. Started to get nervous that something else happened at the McBride Clinic. Glad you're back.

Fiona ... Glad the son is healing.

Kim: I probably don't know what I'm getting myself into but, YES, I definitely would like a foam ball! Doesn't seem like a nice way to pay back our cruisemeister for all his hard work, but then again, I've yet to meet this character!!!!Let me know what I owe you and I can send you the money or pay you on the cruise.

Ave: you just put me in a time warp! When I was just a teeny bopper (do people still use that phrase?) MANY years ago, I was MADLY in love with Paul Revere and the Raiders!!!!! I actually unexpectedly saw them perform at Disneyland about 10 years ago, but the only original member was Paul Revere himself and I think he had his son with him. I was at the Ed Sullivan show (talk about memory lane!) when they appeared in NY circa 1966 and managed to catch a few other area performances. Please let me know if Mark is still with the group and if he still has his ponytail!

Jeanne:

I saw Mark Lindsey in an oldies concert last year. He was by himself and yes he did still have his ponytail. He still looked good only a little older. He sounded good too and still had the same energy he used to have...

Arlene

We are in WDW May 22-28th so we will get to see Paula Revere and the Raiders during our stay. Last year we saw the group that sang "I Henry the 8th, I am". I'm having a senior moment and can't remember the groups name. Norm and I really enjoyed them. DS#2 hated it. After our family cruise, we are sending both sons back home so Norm and I can enjoy WDW without entertaining the boys.

I am so excited

:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Clay Aiken is coming to the York Fair on Sept 16th. I have not been able to go to any of his concerts this winter and they were all around me. Well, since I couldn't go to him he is coming to me. The fairgrounds are only 15 minutes from my house. My dilemna is that Norm and I will be in Williamsburg on Sat when tickets go on sale, so will have to have my girlfriend order for us.

Glad everyone is feeling better.

Back to work.
