Yes i have outlook also for 2 email addresses and I do have the email scan enabled , we also use AOL for primary use...

Since Jen likes Aol .. I use IE most of the time ....

Welcome to the new folks have not downlaoded the list yet so ....
scared lol...

Peter,
the List is guaranteed virus-free.
AOL offers an anti-virus package over here which updates itself very quickly. I have all my mail scanned before downloading it, I NEVER use Outlook, I delete all mails of unknown origin and I scan my complete PC at least twice a month. Additionally I have a high-security firewall.
So far I could avoid infection of my system completely.

Sue, Welcome back!:D The camera things sounds very cool. What kind of good/bad pictures did you take? Do you get any questions or feed-back? The best way to get over post-cruise blues...book another cruise and start planning.:jester:

Long weekend! Worked 24 in 48. Back to Job #1 tomorrow.:p

Sue, glad you had a nice trip, and nice to have you posting again.

I also know I put us on the list, but I re-submitted , maybe it will work this time. I think the "List" person has changed so maybe that was the problem:confused:

Peter, sorry for your computer problems. I also had to wipe out my hard drive last year. REAL BUMMER!

Another work week ahead of us.

Good morning all. Peter I have a firewall and Norton's on my xp machines. I don't have to worry about viruses on my mac laptop.

I am going to put up some shelves in the storage barn today. Our back porch is loaded with junk that needs to be put up.

Eric when will you take off the snow tires and put the summer ones back on? Luckily here in Tennessee we can get by with all season tires. Mike

Thanks for the new list Eric and the stats.

Back to work ugh. The other lawyer is away this week so I get all of his problems which should make the week interesting. He said I'd be mad at him by the end of the week but we'll see. So far it hasn't been too bad. He doesn't feel too badly though as I left problems for him last October and I'm sure some will come up this October. :p

Spring has definately not sprung here yet although some of the snow is slowly melting and by Friday we should be above 0C (32F).

Saw Against the Ropes yesterday with DS. Thought it was an ok movie.

Must get back to work to pay for Mickey.

Have a great day everyone.

Fiona

I'm glad that everyone seems to like the stats

Mike,
All season-tyres would probably suffucient from me also, but I prefer to switch narrower tyres in the winter as they offer better grip on snow due to the higher pressure the cause on the ground.
I think my regular tyres will stay in the cellar for some more weeks. Just today we had heavy snowfalls, but fortunately the ground is not frozen and so it melted away quickly. The rule of thumb is: As long as the average temps stays below 7°C/45°F the snow tyres stay fitted, because their rubber components just stick better at low temps. And it doen't cost extra money - I don't care which tyres wear down. The only extra money I had to use was for the rims, as I insisted on nice alloy rims for the snow tyres as well. I don't want to ride a nice car with ugly wheels ;)

Well, since I went on a cruise if Jan and I'm booked for Oct. the next best thing is watching ACCORDING TO JIM tuesday night to get my DCL fix. I'm very excited about seeing these episodes.

Thinking about a quick trip to WDW in April.

:D pictures:
Diversions
Cove Cafe
Champange Brunch catamaran
Yuengling Beer on tap in Diversions
:( pictures:
The Stack...needed to be cozier
Ships Whistle...don't blow it enough, need to hear it more
Rockin' Bar D...not enough seats for cabaret shows

The CM wrote on sticky notes and stuck them to the pictures.

Sue

No snow tires here in FL.:sunny: But did get stuck in traffic on the way home tonight. One hour to go eight miles. Lots of rain, + too many people in a hurry= accidents.

Sue, Thanks for the info on the pictures. I have put in my TV bid for tomorrow night. (I don't watch TV much) But I do want to check out the Jim Show.

Got a tearful phone call from DD (13) at work today. She threw-up on the bus on the way home.

To say she was mortified would be an understatement. Poor kid!

Eric, Loved the stats!

Got to run.

Ave,
tell Mary "Gute Besserung" (Get well soon) :wave2:
And please tell me how to make that Smiley hurl ;)

Ave...how is DD today? The hurling smilies are too funny! I also like Peter and Jen's toothless one!

Can't wait for the "World According To Jim" tonight.

Hee-hee, you guys are sick! What have I gotten myself into sailing with the lot of you?!?

Ave: hope your daughter is feeling better.

Sue -- So glad you reminded us of "According to Jim". I completely forgot about it. I usually watch Idol Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Times probably conflict (I have never watched "Jim" so I don't know), but regardless of the time, "Jim" is definitely the show for me.

Hi Guys, Kim here..

I decided on Thursday to pay off the cruise and put some $$ down on credit for the end of the cruise bill. I e-mailed my TA ( in washington state) and she said no problem she will contact Disney and get back to me... She e-mails me Friday and.... the cabin we had been assigned was now not available, they moved us all the way to the front of the ship.

Way back last year when we made the reservation on the cruise on 10/03 Donna made a mistake and without us knowing it at the time booked 2 cabins. Beci contacted DCL when she got the resv # and Disney said it was all straightened out, they just credited the extra deposit to the 10/04 cruise. So after hearing from her Friday I told her that I was not a real happy camper, mom wanted to be mid ship to lessen her walking long distances. Beci agrees with me that I have a black cruising cloud over my head. So mom and I are stuck with a different cabin AGAIN.

Saturday AM we are out doing errands and I get a phone call from Beci, it is 9:30 am EST. it is 6:30 am her time. She has been on the phone with Disney managers at DCL and now Disney says we are back in the 1st cabin assigned.

So, the moral of this story is we really should not be cruising, and I plan on bringing my sleeping bag, we may be on the deck 4 chaise lounges for sleeping....

It is pretty sad when even your TA is not too confident that you will have a cabin come cruise time...

Bye, Kim :confused::confused:

Oh Kim I can't believe this is happening to you guys again. That is horrible that you don't even know if you'll get to keep your cabin. Maybe someone will remember you and Bette and sprinkle some pixie dust on you and give you an upgrade.:

On the other hand, you can always sleep on our veranda. :teeth: We won't mind.

Are you guys going to Washington DC for the meet? Hope so. Maybe we should start a list of who's going and where they're staying. We're staying until Monday. We figured we visit the zoo again to see the Pandas. Can't wait to see what Haley does since it's her first time there.

Renee':

Kim, Bette: sorry for all the confusion concerning your cabin. There's always that "secret" veranda located on 7aft.....that's just a few doors down from our cabin and also Fiona's!

I'd love to join everyone in DC and get a head start on meeting
fellow cruisers, but my son is flying in from LA that morning on a red eye. We'll only have 2 quality days with him as he is scheduled to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed early Monday morning. I feel bad for the kid.....the thing he loves to do most when he comes home is eat! We're gonna try to pack all his favorite things into Saturday and Sunday; then I'll have to play nurse maid for the rest of the week! It sounds like you guys will have lots of fun.

Kim can't believe the cabin problems already -- we still have months to go!!

Not sure if we are going to make the Washington meet. Going to ask a duh question and ask again which weekend it is? I have to check about time off and see how busy it's going to be here which I probably won't know for a little bit longer.

Thankfully it's almost 5pm. Have to watch according to Jim tonight and then pick DS up from night school right afterwards.

Fiona
