Eric, Sorry to hear you had the adult version of Fifths. Case is over the worst of it, I think. As long as he has no fever this weekend, he will go back to school on Monday.

Just got a call to work tomorrow, which is great! Some extra $ for our Disney trip that I wasn't counting on. We may be bringing Mary's best friend and her mom with us to Disney. But it's a secrete. Still have to work out some details.

I'm probably not the only one, but I've been to Antigua... here's a web site that you may find interesting.

Antigua Tourist Board

You'll continually hear about their 365 beaches (one for every day of the year). Most pictures that you see of their beaches sort of remind you of the Castaway Cay beaches, but they're much more impressive when you're there.

Don't mention the word 'cricket' in casual conversations with a local.

If you have the opportunity, find a beach barbie and order a local lobster... It's the size of a small cow. If not lobster, any type of seafood.

It's actually quite a nice place to visit

Ave' - glad that Casey is feeling better. I had that when I was in grammer school. The itching drives you just about as crazy as the chicken pox. I was just miserable.

Jim - thanks for the other Antigua website. Now I really can't wait to go and lounge out in the sun, on the beach, by the pool, whatever as long as it's not 14 degrees with snow on the ground!

They like cricket (the sport). I find the game keeps my interest about 8.62 seconds. Which, when you consider that some important matches could possibly last a couple of days, makes it awkward to attend a match or talk about.

Now if they played it on ice, it may enhance the thrill factor considerably... kind of tough to do in the Caribbean though.

There's some big sporting thingie coming up this weekend down there this weekend, isn't there?

Kathy and I have had Katie the last 2 days as her mom and dad celebrated their anniversary. # 7 I think. We have been busy with Kathy's second job and have not had time to get to the computer.

Congrats also to the Patriot fans. Watched the last minute of the game waiting for Survivor. Afraid not really into football. High school football is not big here at all -- in fact my high school didn't even have a team. Basketball was big.

Not a Happy Ground Hog Day -- 6 more weeks of winter.

So far not a good day at work -- had a deal supposed to close on Friday -- heard absolutely nothing from the other lawyer -- nothing!! not even a sorry can't close today. Still haven't heard from him, ugh hate dealing with inconsiderate people.

Now trying to contact a bank -- gee we've moved, here's the new # but hey don't give me the extension that's needed to access you through the new number. It's only 9:30am!!!

Sorry for the vent. Wasn't there a song "I hate Mondays"?

Missed the half time show so missed the Justin Timberlake thing.

That's the one Arlene. Finally got in touch with the lady at the bank but she sent the wrong statement.

Also got in touch with the other lawyer who said that he was in court all day and had 15 calls to return and well returning my call just didn't rank high enough. He's cost his clients an extra $1K but that doesn't seem to bother him since he's blaming them?!

Typical Monday here at work. October can't come soon enough.

I agree ... the half time was not what I'd like to see at a football game! The only thing that could have been worse than what Janet Jackson did was to have her brother jump out of a cake. If you know what I mean.

I said to Art the other night ... are all the winters this long? I really must be showing my age cause I can't take the cold anymore.

This time of year is the busiest, let alone being one body short.
OK I vented and now I want to cruise.

I hope the AAA has a cruise intro night shortly cause I really need a "fix". Love to just talk about the beautiful islands and get brochures, etc.
