Marianne,
our last cruise-threads had well over 4000 posts, too. But then we had nearly two years to post opposed to the mere year we have this time ;)

Howdy all!

HAPPY MOM'S DAY to all!

I got on the August 20 repositioning cruise. Wanted the May one, but at least this way I'll be bringing home the Magic instead of taking the Magic away.

Got a Cat 9, same cabin as the Cruisetoberfest, 2560.

Just so excited!

Sue

Happy Mother's Day to all moms!

Sorry I have not been here to much this weekend. I have had a bad cold which has really knocked me on my butt!:(

Happy belated mothers day to all the moms with kids, whether they be of the 2 legged or 4 legged kind. Mike

Happy belated Mother's Day to everyone. Hope you're feeling better Mary!

Dreary out this morning here but it's supposed to get sunny this afternoon and go up to 26C. Sun would be good and am hopeful about the temperature too.

Watched Survivor last night -- was kinda disappointed that it was Rob and Amber in the final two. Didn't seem much of a choice really. Can't decide who I want to win the extra 1 million between Rudy and Rupert. Jenna looked a lot different at the reunion show.

Must get back to work since it's Monday.

Hope everyone is well.

Fiona

PixieDust to Mary *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Fiona,
we've seen the sun for the first time in five days, but the temps are still in the 17°C-range.

http://www.unc.edu/about/traditions.html#tarheel

Yes! I did it....I finally figured out how to post a link without losing my reply page! A quantum leap for the computer challenged!

Eric: the above link is for you and anyone else who might happen to be interested. Remember awhile back whern you asked me what a "Tarheel" was? Well, I just found this official explanation in the UNC-CH parents handbook. At least I wasn't too far off with my original reply.

BTW, I saw Van Helsing this weekend.......I know it got bad reviews but I thought it was a fun movie. Plus, Hugh Jackman is SO HOT......just add him to my list of fantasy boy-toys...... (Man, I am so glad DH doesn't read this stuff!) OK, I'll behave!

I just booked the "eco-tour" in Antiqua. I looked at my confirmation to see the times will be be in port, but can't find it! Anyone know what time we dock, and what time we leave port?

Thanks for the Pixie dust. I think I am finally starting to feel better:bounce:
If I am NOT 100% soon, I'll be in BIG trouble as I am a chaperone for DD field trip to Carowinds in North Carolina next Saturday. God help me if I am not feeling well!

Mike...I voted for Rupert! ::yes::

Just dropping in to let you know we are still around. Both sons have moved back home for the summer and they brought all their dirty laundry with them. I don't think they have done it for months. I couldn't even move around in the laundry room. Thank heavens it has been nice weather, so could hang alot outside.

DS#1 had his wisdom teeth out on Friday and did well. In fact he drove back to college on Sat so he could go to graduation and say goodbye to his friends.

Mother's day we spent at the Orioles baseball game and Inner Harbor. Ate at Philips and had dessert at Cheesecake Factory.

This week trying to get everything caught up since we leave Friday for our cruise and WDW.

I have moved into the 21st Century and got the internet hooked up through the cable. No more dial up and we can have all the computers going at the same time. Once less argument in our house.

Ave--- We will also do the group brunch. Not sure if I said that before.

After I get back from this vacation and my conference in June will start to look about excursions for Oct.

I looked at the repositioning cruise, but I just don't think it will work out. DS#1 college graduation and DS#2 will be doing his internship we will be busy moving children both in May and August. I'm tempted to put a deposit down on it and see if we can work something out. However, I think I would like to do a Southern Carribean in the winter or Alaska in the summer.

I missed Survivor yesterday, but did read the reviews so know what happened Voted for Ruppert for the millon.

Night everyone.

Good Morning! The itenerary that was on DCL has us in Antigua at 8:00, departing at 5:30. Happy to have you with us:bounce:

Mary: Glad to hear you're feeling better. I also booked the Antigua Eco-Tour yesterday for hubby and me! It sounds like a fun excursion.

Nancy: I know exaxtly what you mean about the laundry! When my son visited in April I couldn't understand why he brought so much luggage for just a week at home. Turns out the last time he did any laundry was at my house over Christmas break! I sure hope they didn't choose his luggage for inspection! After everything was all clean and fluffy we couldn't fit it back in the same bags!
I didn't even ask about the sheets......!!! Seems to me like he needs a woman.

Voted for Rupert yesterday. Ethan is still my boy, but he already has his million and besides now he's got Jenna and she has her million (somebody please tell me, what's up with that?!?) I really want Rupert to win the money just to prove you can have integrity and still come out ahead.

I'll probably miss American Idol tonight.....it's our 30th wedding anniversary so we have a dinner reservation.

Just got back from a week @ WDW and could not get into my computer -- got "wormed". Not sure what to do about it, but I got a disc from a nurse I work with when I got back to the hospital today -- it's titled Sasser Fix so I hope it works. I have missed this board so much and was going crazy at home without a computer.

Mary Jo -- thanks so much for the information.

Renee' - Put us down for the Pineapple Beach day (Sam and I) in case I haven't already notified you. Can't remember what I did pre-vacation.

Weather was great at WDW (mid-80's during the day & mid-60's at nights and no humidity). Parks were crowded. Saw Wishes for the first time -- unreal -- it is absolutely spectacular -- gave my DD and I goosebumps and tears. Have a new favorite building at OKW -- Building 19. It was a hectic visit -- trying to coordinate parks with our 4 year-old grandson and our 32 year-old son. We finally decided that everyone would do their own thing and that worked out much better.

We are looking forward to our July 11 trip trip to HH DVC. This will be a relaxing vacation in contrast to the one we just experienced. And after that, only 2-1/2 months to the cruise!!!

Here's who's on the list so far:

1. Sam
2. Jeannie
3. Kim
4. Bette
5. Lenny
6. Renee & Haley

Anyone else interested in this? Here's the link in case anyone needs it:

ok -- I voted for Rupert. Was considering voting for Rudy but finally decided to vote for Rupert -- loved when he stole the shoes last season.

It was really warm here yesterday -- up to 30C with the humidex. What a shock to the system -- the heat was still on in the house so the house was 75F (the thermstat in the house is set in F for my mother!).

Sunny for right now but it may rain (yet again) this afternoon or early evening.

Broke down at work and put up a subdivision map on the wall. I resisted for 3 years but finally had to give in. Still have my disney beanies though so I guess it's ok. :p

Back to work -- well sortof, our phones and faxes haven't worked all morning so it's been quiet. Now if they could turn on the air conditioning it would be great!! They are working on it too.

Fiona

JeanneC,
my sincerest apologies for the worm as it was a German student who caused that havoc. He's facing serious charges now. I hope this a consolation for you ;)

I got my 160GB-harddrive today :Pinkbounc :bounce: I just finished formatting and partitioning it. It's so great not having to bother about storage space anymore - at least for some time :hyper: :p

ok Eric even though I'm not computer savvy at all I do know that you have one heck of a big harddrive now!!

It's officially hot here. I don't think we had spring, just winter and then summer. Was thinking of calling my Dad this afternoon b/c last night they were calling for snow in the West (he lives in Winnipeg). :(

Time to break out the shorts. :bounce: :bounce:

Fiona

jeanneg--- Congratulations on your anniversary. We just celebrated our 33rd on 5/8.

Is your daughter at Lehigh finished for the year? Just when yu are enjoying the empty nest, they start flocking back home.

DS#1 was so kind last night he made dinner for us. He works part time in a restaurant so he does know how to cook.

American Idol tonight. Clay Aiken is going to be on Wednesdays show.
:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I now have concert tickets to see him in Baltimore and York this summer.

Almost finished work for the day.

Fiona--- Your weather is like central PA, we also went from winter into summer. Time to put in the AC.

Nancy
