1 year old not on the hotel itinerary

Hey all, we have booked to go at the end of this money in the hotel new York, but on the hotel itinerary my one year old is not on there, is this normal or do I have to phone up and check ?

its perfectly normal, infants (ie under-3s) are never named on the booking confirmations at DLP.

They normally don't put under 3s on the confirmation as they are technically free anyway.

So, no, you don't need to check - it's common practice

Ah excellent thanks, what with the flights and airport parking, insurance and hotels etc there is so much that has to be correct!!

Having said that, you might want to double check that they ensure a travel cot is in the room for you. I've had them forget before and we waited ages for one (after a late arrival, so baby just wanted to go to sleep!).

You could just email them with your booking number and request one, just in case.

Our one year old will sleep in the bed anyways so that doesnt matter lol !! She is fussy.

Oh well, that's probably easier then as there is no worry if they forget .

You often get 2 double beds in the room so you (or Mummy) could share with her, and the other adult have a bed all to themselves!

On our last trip it was a fight for who would sleep in the same bed as Daddy and who with Mummy - I'm bracing myself for the same tomorrow night .

We haven't told our daughters - breaking it to them tomorrow morning with a treasure hunt! I can't wait to see their little faces . We will tell them then set off for the airport about half an hour later.

Where are you staying and when? You should get yourself a ticker set up .

I hope you do all their packing for them before hand, our lot takes about a week to prepare for things like this. 18th we are going to the New York
