If you have 3 days booked thru one membership number and the next 3 under another one(thinking about buying 100 more points with a different use year) do you have to "check out" and check back in??

Yes. I had to do that in May. We did not have to change rooms, but did need new cards.

Yes, check out/check in; we almost had to change rooms. They were so lame they didn't tell us for sure until 6am the morning of check out :confused3

When you book, make sure you have the reservations linked, and then you should not have to move. You WILL have to check in and out, but it should be a formality.

We have even used two different member numbers owned by two different parties (us and our friends) book one unit (a GV) with both sets of points. All is possible as long as you get MS involved.

Yes, before June 2011, you had one continuous reservation with one check in and one check out. Since that time, you check in, check out, check in, check out.

Our two res were even linked, and I told them upon check in, and I reminded them the night before to tell the room assigner (this is at AKV). I still didn't get confirmation until 6am the morning of "check out" that I wasn't changing rooms. :faint:
