Ok...I just texted Marissa about her costume. She is either going as Marco Bott or Petra Ral from Attack on Titan. I have no clue what that means.

Nope not Jessie. That would be so much eaiser to explain. It is some character from Attack on Titan. I will have to research what that is.


WDW still has Merida Meet and Greet, right? Disneyland canceled her meet and greet effective July 1st. I am a bit sad.

2 trip!!!! Awesome and I am so jealous of the DL part...have not been in years so want to plan one soon.

Halloween Party is AWESOME!!!! I am so excited we are going back this year juts for the party and it is a blast. Trick or treating, a fun parade and all sorts of wonderful character meet & greets - all 7 dwarfs!!

Have a blast DL even with only 3 groups glad to kept the group rate for you.

I am excited to go to the MNSSHP for the first time. It sounds like a lot of fun.

Here are the pictures of the Autograph book and the Guide to the Magic journal. Big thank you to Tim Foster for getting them signed for Chelsea. She absolutely loves them.

Oh and the Autograph book also has a cool passport section for Epcot!

The Guide book has pages for each park and each ride and lets them note whether or not they did the attraction and what they thought. Then there is a place to make notes for each day...weather, where we ate, best thing about the day, etc.

I think I like them just as much as Chelsea.

She thinks she is pretty adorable too. The hardest part about the Guide book, is she is wanting to write her thoughts now. So, I am having to play keep away with her.

I don't think they have touched the dishwasher since the weekend.

She had one other class, but that picture day was on the same day as Marisssa's graduation. She has what her studio calls "Drop Dead Week" coming up before our trip. This is where they will determine if she makes one of their dance teams and which team. She is super excited for that, but it is a travel year for the team, so I am not sure where and how expensive that will be.

For Ballroom they did a disco routine. Not exactly what I was thinking when we signed her up for Ballroom. But it was a fun routine.

I was attracted to your thread by its title! I thought you were doing a cross country drive. Nevertheless, a nice read! You are so lucky to be able to do both so close together. We have done the crosscountry drive quite a few times, 2 of which included DL! Wonderful story!

I am so excited! I cannot believe that we will be entering Disneyland in 13 days. I am more excited that 2 of my children do not even know it. I am ready for a vacation. I am ready to be in Disney. I am not looking forward to the 17.5 hr drive. Thankfully, I have it split between 2 days.

I purchased my DLR photopass + voucher on Monday. I am hoping it gets here in time. It said up to 14 business days. Well, we leave in 11 actual days. I can understand if they were making the CD that it could take 14 business days. However, they just have to put the voucher in the mail. I also have to figure out where to redeem it. Hopefully, they will have that info with the voucher. I got an email yesterday that they shipped it.

I walked to work Tuesday (3.5 miles each way). It was 97 degrees on my return walk home. I hated every step of the return walk home. I suppose I will be Disney ready. I am hoping that is the case anyway. I had an extra cup (32 oz) for water and its special carry case. It was empty by the time I made it home. I think that cup will make it to the trip this year instead of our leaky Disney water bottles. I wore my “free” Thorlo socks. Oh my, are these socks thick. I had to redo the laces in my shoes. I will never wear those socks again. They were fine in the morning, but on the trip home, my feet swelled (at least I think that was why the socks hurt my feet so bad) and those socks squeezed my poor toes so tightly together ; I thought I was going to lose them. Every step was so terribly painful. No blisters though.

I walked to work again yesterday. It was 96 degrees and I didn’t wear the Thorlo socks and my feet were just fine. No swelling either. So, if you do have the Thorlo socks, that packaging says to wear them when you shop for shoes. I suggest you wear them for an hour in hot weather, let your feet swell, then go shoe shopping.

I was hoping that the summer clothes would be on sale by now. However, since Oregon just reached summer weather, there haven’t been very good sales.

I read Josh’s review for touring DHS during the Frozen Summer stuff. I know the sing a long is a must do for us. Marissa watched the youtube video of it and thought it looked fun. The processional is not necessary. We want to do the Oaken stuff and of course try to find all the places to take the Magic shots around DHS. We will watch the fireworks. We don’t care to see Fantasmic again. I was hoping to take a break during the afternoon, but I really don’t see that happening.

Those Cross country trips were and are wonderful. So many places to see along the way! We did our first when my husband received 3 weeks vacation with DL the destination we wanted to visit a lot! National Parks and planning and just seeing the country we have are the best! And the NP AP is just $80 for the family!
