I'm in the same pickle as many others. Free QSDP and at first I figured that was enough, now I'm curious if we should upgrade the $30 a day for two of us equaling $120...
I guess we can bring pop tarts and granola bars for breakfast, use the counter service meals for one lunch/dinner, then a table service meal for the other. Use the one and only snack for a treat or a breakfast item...but why if I'm paying more for the Regular dining plan do I only get one snack?

Reason for the upgrade...I have reservations at Raglan Road and 50s Prime and as of right now Le Cellier...I'm guess just those three will put my dining plan to good use correct? About Le Cellier--are sides included with the meals or extra? and if they are extra are they included with the dining plan? Is that prefix part of the plan?

Also, with the fact that you get two desserts...can we make one an appetizer? I don't think we need two desserts at a TS

You can not sub app for dessert. However none of those restaurants will be anywhere near $30 for a bill. Each one of those restaurants will run you the ups of at least $50 without dessert. I would upgrade and never look back. Look at the menus and prices on allears.net. Disney prices are unbelievable!

Just realized you were the person who had planned ohana too! That meal will be almost $70 for you guys... definately upgrade! You'd be better off buying the CS extras that you are worried about oop

Sounds decent.

At Le Cellier, there are sides that come with the meals, these are not the separately listed sides though. Sometimes you can substitute the sides for another side offered with an entree, but not always.

The separate sides are not included with the plan.

This is a big no. They will not allow you to choose an appetizer instead of a dessert.

Not sure where you are staying, but last summer DD16 and I shared a QS breakfast platter each morning at POP. It was really enough food for two of us. We were careful with lunch, so we could almost always share a lunch also (anyplace that puts a 1/2 chicken as one qs meal is enough to share!). With a beautiful, large ts meal each day, sharing one b'fast and one lunch, along with a snack each, was more than enough... and I am not a small eater!
