We currently have 1 room booked at Disney’s Sequoia hotel for 4 nights with my husband and two daughters: 17 and 19. We are considering switching to Santa Fe so we can get two rooms for only $175 more. What would you suggest? Will we regret not staying at Sequoia or be more grateful for the two rooms?

We always stay at the SQL. Our daughters are 20 and 15 and we never got a problem beeing in a room together. The romms are big enough. The SQL is the way better hotel in my opinion. It has a better theme and it is closer to the park and you can walk easier to the entrance. The SF is more a motel (but I guess thats what the theming shoud be).

Spend the $175 for some souvenirs or lunch and stay at the SQL. It is a great hotel and much better than the SF.

If you request a SF room close to the river walkway to the park, you’re not much further than SL. We’ve stayed there and used the SL bar and shop when returning from the parks. The main difference is the swimming pool at SL and slightly bigger rooms. We’ve had adjoining rooms at both SL and Cheyenne which have worked well.

I would go for two rooms. Having space to unwind after a long day, especially with teenagers, will be good for all.
Imagine the time you will safe in the morning with 2 bathrooms! :D

I stay at Santa Fe often and I am never disappointed. But then again, I do not care for decor.

Seems I am the only one who likes SQL :rolleyes1

Me too! I've booked SL for the 30th anniversary! I thought a swim might be nice & I love the bar and shop, but I also like SF when I need a cheaper trip!
