1 QS per day is the summer deal?!??

So are we thinking the end of summer free dining is over, or do I make a ressie and watch and wait? Not many hotels are included or left (or maybe I'm just late to the party).
Would they continue their tradition? What's your guess?

I wouldn't read too much into this. The 1 QS per night deal was also offered last summer and *free* dining was still offered in the fall, albeit in a much more limited form. There was also a *free* dining bounceback offer in resort rooms last fall and it included September and December dates I. 2018.

I just booked our trip last night for 6 nights/7 days at ASM with the meal offer. I did upgrade us to the quick service dining plan, but still, for 4 of us with 4 day park hopper plus tickets it was still just under $4k. I didn't think that was too bad.

The stronger the economy is, the fewer deals we'll see. We took some really chip trips to Disney during and after the recession!

Can I book a trip and modify it if the deal is offered? Or would they refuse because I'm "going anyway"?

I think a 20% discount just came out. Instead of seeing it as a savings to your room, take the money and get the dining plan.

It’s a really crappy deal compared to past ones for sure. We’ll be waiting for something better or taking a non-Disney cruise.
