OK as of right now we are having dinner at:
1900 Park Fare
Spoodles
Crystal Palace (may be cancelling and moving to lunch)
Coral Reef
Spirit of Aloha
Yachtsman

I am trying to get together the Illuminations dinner as well so that would give us another night.

If I get that we will only need one more dinner if not we will need 2. We are open to 2 TS places. So what is your favorite? I have tried for Teppan Edo and I cannot seem to get it before 8 pm which I think is a bit late for even us lol. We are not big on sushi or anything to far from mainstream. I had thought about some of the other places in Epcot as well. DH will be fine as long as he can get a decent steak lol. We have park hoppers so anything is game. The most dressed up we are getting is Yachtsman's dress code is the only thing. :)

It is easy to recommend a good steak..Le Cellier..getting a reservation is another story :goodvibes ....I was going to try California Grille BUT I did not like their 48 hour cancellation policy..I understand it... but I have 3 kids (9, 7 and 6) I can not predict what can happen, so I will not recommend it to you..plus it is 2 TS credits.

If you do not mind jumping on the monorail try the Kona Cafe for dinner it is wonderful @ The Poly.

I highly recommend Boma at the AK Lodge.

There has been pretty high praise for the Grand Floridian Cafe.

If its 2TS I'd suggest Narcoossee's. Fantastic meal and service.

You could also consider a Fantasmic dinner package at Mama Melrose or Hollywood and Vine for 1TS. We enjoyed our H&V meal and it was great having the reserved seating and quick entrance to the Fantasmic stadium.

Thanks for the recommendations I am going to go over them all with DH and see what we decide. I will admit I know that it will not be Mama Melrose we had a beyond horrible experience there last year and I do not care to repeat it lol. It is one of the few places at Disney we would not go back to. Plus we are skipping Fantasmic this year. :)

California Grill if you are looking for a 2 TS. We had the best dinner there last year. :cloud9: The food, service, and view of MK were amazing!

One of our favorites for steak is Kona at the Poly.....their prime rib and filet are awesome :cool1:. Another suggestion would be Boma at the AKL.....they have prime rib on the buffet as well as a variety of foods for every taste ;).

My suggestions would be Artist Point 1st, then Flying Fish 2nd. If you prefer to not go to a signature restaurant both nights, I'd recommend Les Chefs de France for one evening.

If you're not on the DDP, I'd choose bluezoo or Shula's @ the Dolphin. Your steak loving DH should enjoy both AP & Shula's. Since you're going to YSH, Shula's would make that 2 steakhouses in one trip. It doesn't sound like your DH would mind that though. ;) Of course, if you're not on the DDP, you could always replace YSH with Shula's. :rolleyes1

We are on Deluxe DDP. I have booked Jiko too because it was highly recommended on another board. We cannot do the Illumnations dinner so we still have still another 2 TS credits lol. One of my very good friends is engaged to one of the Chef's at YSH so it is a pretty set in stone thing lol. We were going to eat at Shula's in Nov of 06 but DH we decided against it because our children were still "smaller" 10 and 12. I think one day we will get back there but will probably be just the two of us. :)

I have thought about both Flying Fish and Artist Point lol. Why is it the last TS are always the hardest to decide? :)

Italy is good in Epcot.
Lady & The Tramp in Mk.
Kona Cafa in the Poly.
Rain Forest Cafe in LBV.
Yak & Yeti in AK.
50's Prime time cafe in HS
Mama Melrose in HS
Hope this helps.

I wish we had that problem. We can't fit in all the restaurants on our list. :rolleyes1

AP & FF are both very good. Your DH would probably prefer AP. My DH loves the buffalo. That would be his choice.

That's a good reason for going to YSH. :goodvibes "Her chef's" picture was in the Florida Travel & Leisure magazine this month. :)

I would definately reccomend Shula's. Shula's is our favorite at the moment, we've always liked it, but it now even more so. I wouldn't worry about the kids' ages, our's were 17, 13 and 3.5. Though the atmosphere is quite fancy, with it being a steakhouse that's virtually family-style, it's prety easy with kids if they're used to these types of restaurants. You can get one steak for two or three people to share and two or three side dishes, it works out pretty well.

Oops, just realized you weren't deciding whether or not to go there this trip! In that case, I'd choose FF, consistantly good. :)

I really wouldn't sweat Shula's on a Disney trip. It's a chain so just go to the web site and find a location. Too many wonderful Disney specific places to waste the time in Orlando for me.

We did the private dessert party our first family trip to WDW but I was so sick I did not get to enjoy it as I was just trying to get through the night. :( So I have been wanting to try the GG dinner ever since. Looks like I will be waiting a bit longer lol.

Oh I need to check that out I missed it. :goodvibes

I am not sure still where we are eating for the second dinner. I have a child that is screaming Teppan Edo. I am deciding if I want to listen to her or not. :rotfl:
