1 Night Onsite - 7 Offsite - FP+?

I was able to sneak an extra night in this year so I booked 1 on site night to be able to get the perks of the 60 day FP+ Window. I have a couple of questions.

First of all I have 7 days left on my no expire park hopper tickets. I already have the magic bands linked to my account.

So when my 60 day window opens up as I understand it I will have to choose FP+ for my day of arrival (wont be in a park but will be staying onsite) and my checkout day (wont be in a park)??

I will be wanting FP+ for the next day (off site) and onwards (Day 3-7). When will I be able to book those? Will it be 60 days from my 3rd Day or 4th day etc? or 60 days from my arrival day? or not at all?

If its 60 days from my 3rd day will there be A&E or 7DMT availability? I'm assuming these might be gone to people staying onsite for the week since they can book all their FP+ from 60 days from arrival??

I'm going April 18 - 26th.

Hope my post makes sense. :confused3

1. No rules as to which days you must make FP+.

2. At the same "first-day" 60-day mark.

3. It's not.

4. Unknown. All guests with shorter visits are up against that situation vs. guests with longer stays.

Thanks for the quick response.

I just wanted to clear up #2/3. So its not 60 days from my 3rd Day? I can book my 3rd day 62 days out since I am arriving 2 days earlier???

Is that what you meant?

I hate to disagree with you Robo, because your info is usually spot on. However, I don't think the OP will be able to book all days at the 60 day mark, at least not from what I gathered from people who are booking "throwaway" rooms. They report being able to book for check-in and check-out day on their 60 day and then each subsequent day as a rolling 60 days. Has there been some change that I am unaware of?

OK.

That must be the case.

I didnt even think to check in the throw away forum.

Thanks for clearing this up. I was hoping my 7 day ticket would let me book 7 days out from when I arrived / checked out.

To answer your question about availability - I did a throwaway night and was able to book 7DMT on my departure date at my 60 day window, but only night times were available. No A&E, parades, or Wishes were available. With some checking, though, I eventually was able to get everything I needed.

So while the 60 day FP window is really helpful, it won't help you with those few.

Maybe someone can help me with a similar question. I'm not booking a throwaway room, but am booking a split stay with a DCL cruise in the middle. I'm booked 2 days in one WDW resort and one of those days we will be visiting a park (most likely MK). I'm buying my 6 day park passes as part of that first reservation. After the 1 day in the park(s) we're leaving for a 4 night DCL cruise, so we won't be going to the parks those days obviously. Then we get back from our cruise and are checking into another WDW resort and spending 5 days in the parks. We're using the remaining park admission days from our first reservation for those 5 days. When will I be able to make those FP+ reservations? Can I make them all on the 60 day out window from the first reservation, or from 60 days out from each day for which I want to make reservations?
