1 night in HH- what are my chances?

Driving down to BWV next year and might want to stop for a night at HH in a studio...in August- a Sunday or Monday probably...any chance at all without HH points that I could get just one studio for one night at that time of year?

Are you going to use dvc points or cash reservation? It may be possible for one night on points at 7 months(or less), but you could also try to get cash reservation. Depending on you arrival time, you won't have a chance to see much of the resort or island for one night. I'm assuming its a stopover for the drive to WDW. We drive from Boston and would rather stay along 95 in a chain than use our HHI points for the overnight.

I would hope to use points...that is why I have them, to use them when I can. We would arrive in the late morning probably- we would start early and not drive much that day. I can't imagine staying on the road would be that much difference in my costs.

You never know. I was able to get 1 night in August (they had 1BR or 2BR) the day before we left. If they don't have availability now, put yourself on the waitlist and maybe something will open up.

We made cash ressies at HH for our trip in December to WDW. We actually received a pretty good discount on the 19th for the 2 BR but no discounts on the return trip 27/29. We decided the 20 or so miles off I95 was worth visiting HH. We were also told, with cash, we could reserve 11 months out. In any case, no problems with making the arrangements.

You should not have any problems in August. HH head is not the place to go in late August in the middle of the summer.
