So I booked 6 nights through a DVC rental at the Riviera. Because I found a really good deal on a flight that leaves a day earlier, we have one night we are trying to figure out. We get it in around 3 pm at MCO. I'm thinking we should hit a DS area hotel. I've looked at the Holiday Inn, Wyndham LBV, and Drury. BTW it's me, DW, DS (19), and DD (19). Are these hotels decent? Thoughts?

I did stay at a Holiday Inn within the resort area… it’s on Hotel Plaza Blvd near that I-4 exit. Nothing really special, just typical IHG stuff, but you are within a walkable range from the Disney Springs area. There’s a bridge that you can cross from the Hotel Plaza Blvd sidewalk to get inside that area too. I would definitely recommend a Disney hotel so that you have better access but if you had to choose a non-Disney hotel I would recommend maybe going to a different hotel like the Hilton next door.

We love the Drury its clean with free breakfast in morning & 5:30 PM Kick back (3 adult drinks per adult, hot food Included) and still in Disney springs with bus that runs all to Disney parks. The 2 Queen Deluxe rooms have 2 queen beds pull out sofa bed we did last time with grandkids we had plenty of room.

Another vote for the Drury. Or maybe a value at Disney and they transfer your luggage? You would have more room at the Drury than a value, plus the bonus of their complimentary food and drinks!
