Hi- sorry i have so many questions, but rates are high this year, and it's making me crazy!
Ok, last one(I hope) Say I book today, Sept. 29,fares go down, I get a $400 credit. DO I have to USE the credit by next Sept 29? or just bokk another flight before then? If I have to use it by Sept. it won't work for me, b/c we always travel in January!

you can fly after 9/29/07 but have to be booked one year from the date of the ticket purchase.

I also think you can ask for a 6 month extension for booking purposes.

You have to fly by 9/29 but SW will generally give you a 6 month extension.

Ummm...which is the correct answer? Do they always give a 6 month credit? Like they give it as a matter of policy?

No, they don't always give a 6 month extension. You must complete travel within one year of the original ticket purchase. It is stated on the website.

Flyertalk.com is down, you might check there. I think most people, who ask nicely, get the 6 month extension but it's not guaranteed. SW could certainly tighten up in the next year.
