Oh, for the old days when they gave you six months for free -- that did not last long (then of course there was when they first went online in the 90s and were selling books for a penny).

Then they went to three months free of Prime, which lasted a few years. Now they are down to a month -- I assume that sometime soon it will be two weeks.

I think I have used every credit card, every variation on address, Amzaon Mom and Amazon student, as well as every member in the family to keep getting free prime over the years. Last time I tried, they told me to go away and I should be ashamed (well, maybe not the ashamed part).

But, it has been many years since I used the Mastercard and my actual home address....maybe I will give it a try, I need to order a few wedding and grad presents for upcoming June events....

Yes, be mindful that if you have already used the free month you can't do it again. That is unless you use different personal info. I didn't know this and thought I signed up for free around the holidays. Ended up being charged $99. They were great though and refunded all my money even though I had already used the free shipping.
