Association for Retarded Citizens. It might be called something else now--in my area its called Right In The Community. This organization has been so very helpful to us, finding us respite and emergency care for Christian when DH had to go to CCU at Christmas(just try to find someone to take care of your severely mentally handicapped kid for 3 days on Dec 23!) . I can never repay them for all the assistance they've given us.
