1 Magic Band for a group of 8?

Our family of four is going with another family of four to Disney World in April. I've already planned all the fastpass+ reservations for our group. If I buy 1 magic band, would I be able to check in all 8 of us for the fastpass+ rides at the parks or would the other 7 people need to use their cards/tickets if they don't have magic bands?

We are staying at the Swan, so unfortunately we don't get free Magic Bands.

No. Each MagicBand is assigned to one park ticket. Everyone would need their own MagicBand or plastic ticket card.
