$1 Flip Flops at Old Navy

We got our 5 pairs
They are the flimsy, you-don't-want-to-step-on-sharp-gravel-often kinda flip flops, but since we only plan on using them for the pool they are perfect.

Also, they had those Bermuda plaid shorts for $8.50 so we picked up a couple pairs for DD. We needed to go into Old Navy anyway--I don't think I would travel great distances for the flip flops.

I just don't see the appeal of ON flip flops. Cheap looking and uncomfortable. Okay for the beach, not much else.

Plus, the things are like $2 normally aren't they? Too much trouble to save a buck.

The appeal for me is that my dd lives in them during the summer so I can grab her a bunch to last. They are more comfy than the $1 ones and do hold up better than the other cheapy brand she has worn.

I waited until after lunch to go. It wasn't very crowded and they had plenty left. I got 5 pairs (one for each person in my family). We camp alot & these are perfect to wear in the showers at the bathhouse.

They had kids swimsuits for 40% off. I got DD a cute one piece suit for $9 & my DS swim trunks for $8.

We have an ON 5 minutes from our house. Drove down there, were in and out in less than 10 minutes with 4 pairs of white flip-flops (the only color left for women) and 1 pair for me (mens had every color and size you wanted). A truck is supposed to be coming tomorrow and she can exchange them for any colors and sizes she needs.

We just went and got DD 3 pairs- a black, brown and white pair. All the colors she wanted. She already has all the brights from last year and they are still in wearable shape. We walked in- grabbed the flip flops paid no line and left.

I got to mine at 9 am and got a hot pink, light pink, royal blue, turquoise, and black pair! I really wanted turq! So, the others were a bonus!

Walked in around 11:30am after DD11's voice lessons and picked up 5 pairs--all bright colors except for one black pair. Pickings were kind of slim but there were plenty of SA's around willing to go look for the size/color you wanted. Took 20 mins to check out. So now we have our flip-flops to put in our carry on for our July Disney trip.

We went to our local On today and hubby purchased his alloted 5 pair. I was surprised. We were in and out in less than 5mins. Very cool! I love these flip flops. I've had mine for over 2 years now and they are still going strong.

Didn't know about the $1 flip flops before I went to Old Navy with my step-daughter yesterday afternoon. This ON had plenty of them left in various colors and the store was no more crowded than it probably is on any particular Saturday afternoon. I never shop at Old Navy, but since I was there I bought one pair of flip flops and a pair of cargo shorts that were on sale. SD bought her 5 pair allotment and several other things.

The real reason for the shopping trip was to get myself new eyeglasses at America's Best. Old Navy just happened to be in the same shopping center.

Two pairs of glasses for $69 at America's Best??? HA!!! Winded up being over $300 for two. Bi-focals---getting old.

I live on long island and we bought them for 1.00 a pair! We were there in the afternoon on Saturday and picked up 10 pair (I paid for 5 and my daughter paid for 5).

They were 1.00 in Bay Shore Old Navy and West babylon Old Navy too!
