We will be at the Beach Club Villas October 15 - 21. What is your favorite restaurant to take your family to in the evening? Parks and Resorts? Thanks for you input.
The Cape May Buffet right at the Beach Club is a fun place for the family. We like the clambake dinner, but they also have a character breakfast.
I love planning a nice meal at my resort. Nothing worse than feeling all warm and content after a delicious meal, then jumping on and off two or more buses to get back to my resort, especially with little ones in tow.
I'm assuming upper scale restaurants, but our favorites are California Grill and LeCellier. There are a lot of other good restaurants, and you'll get a hundred different opinions, but those are our two fav's.
Just got back 9/3 and Le Cellier was our favorite. We ate at Ohana, Boma, Chef Mickey's, Boatwright's, and San Angel. All were good, and we enjoyed the Cape May Buffet character breakfast and dinner at BC when we were there two years ago, but If I had to chose one out of all of them, it's Le Cellier.
For a park restaurant we like Teppanayki in Japan. At the hotel we love Citricos. We use to like CG a lot but we spent one to many times waiting for an hour after our ADR time. Maine
Le Cellier-definitely! I can't wait until November for a glass of ice wine, cheddar soup, the 7 oz filet, and creme brulee. Oh, yeah, it is my favorite restaurant!
our number one best all around favorite meal from our past 11 day trip was at (SURPRISE!) Boatwrights at POR! we expected it to be "okay" and it was "outstanding!" (and we ate at LeCellier, Mama Melrose and a lot of other high end restaurants!)
Maya Grill at CSR - great food and service - worth the trip even if you're not staying at CSR.
Le Cellier - EPCOT - Creme Brulee is unbeatable. Excellent steaks!
OK - I lied -I do have a favorite----Whispering Canyon at WL - best food - loved the all you can eat BBQ Skillet - and the atmosphere was the best - so much fun - service was great.
We love Olivia's at OKW. I get the French Dip sandwich and it is sooooooooo good. DH had salmon last time and he thought it was excellent too. That is on the top of our list when we go next week.
We also like Cape May Buffet, since DH is a big seafood fan. I think most of the nicer resort restaurants are all very good. It's the park restaurants that can be sketchy. We also had an awful dinner at Sci-Fi. Won't ever go back there again. But I won't list out all the bad ones we've been to, since this is a "favorite restaurant" thread.
Enjoy your trip!!!
I have so many favorites. DS and DH love the wings at Boardwalk. Boma is our favorite buffet, Wolfgang Puck Cafe is our favorite downtown restaurant, Artist Point and Citrico are our favorite "nice" restaurants. Tusker House is my favorite park counter service and who doesn't love Beaches and Cream?
I'll try...
If there's one place we have to go every time...
It's...
Don't think I can do this...
But here goes...
California Grill
or is that Beaches n Cream?
or maybe Artist Point?
no...Tonga Toast at Kona Cafe...
but then it could be Jiko...
of course if DD has a say - Boma
