$1 DVD's

I was out last night and of course in every store I enter I think...."What can I get for our trip?" In both Walmart and Dollar Tree I found DVD's for $1. They are mostly classic TV shows or old movies but i did find a few that will (hopefully) interest my kids.......Popeye and Superman cartoons, Our Gang (Little Rascals) and The Borrowers (old movie w/ Eddie Albert). I think of it as an inexpensive way to provide them w/ new things to watch in the car on the way to WDW.

I also saw for $1: The Andy Griffith Show, Sherlock Holmes, The 3 Stooges, Beverly Hillbillies and many others that would also interest older children. I recently saw many of these same DVD's selling on overstock.com for $3.49 + shipping.

I guess I need to get out to those places seeing as we are leaving in less than a week. Our original plan was to let our 3yodd watch movies on the dvd player while the 12yods played his gamecube on the other screen, but now I'm not so sure that we'll have the necessary DIN cable in time to hook the extra screen up for him. It looks as though I'll have to get him some dvd entertainment too and they'll hopefully be able to take turns or drive my hubby and me absolutely nuts!
