1 Day...what to do?!

So we will have 1 full day pre-cruise (fly in 2 nights ahead) - I know this is a big question but, what would you do with 1 day- I'm prepared to pay for 1 day park tickets...
We are from the west coast, been to DLR lots, but limited experience at WDW- my DH and I have visited each of the parks once (MK a couple of times) but not for like 10 years...our party includes DH, DD7 turning 8, DD20.

Options:
-Resort day (AKL DVC) and then maybe try to check out the drone show at DTD
-Resort time and then MNSSHP
-Pick 1 park to go to - would think AK is the most different from DLR, well Epcot is also, but I don't think the younger daughter would be as interested in the countries yet...

Thoughts?!
Flying in from the West Coast I vote for No. 1 or No. 2.

Sleep in, resort pool and an evening at the party or at Disney Springs.

Getting up early to spend all day at the theme park would be too much for me.

I was all set to say EPCOT (my daughter has loved it even at the age of 4 including the countries - she was last there when she turned 10) but if it's a Friday during F&W, unless you are planning to leave around 5 I'd go to AK instead as EPCOT world showcase is a miserable zoo to navigate with a group during F&W unless you're drinking along the way.

I'm also on the west coast and have done DL many times but have also had as many days at WDW (10 day WDW trips versus 3 day DL trips). If this is your only chance for awhile to see AK or EP, I'd go for AK over dealing with the crowds at EP on a Fri during F&W - unless you are planning to rope drop until say 5pm, in which EP is fine. (having done those 7am Eastern rope drops after landing from the west coast at 10pm it's brutal but I nap during an afternoon break @ the resort).

But re: AK, You can do the safari, FOP is unique, Dinosaur is cute (but just like Indy which I happen to love), and it just has a cool vibe unlike the other parks, take the train out to the conservation station- it's the most chill of all the parks. Definitely plan on a LL single pass for FOP so you are not spending most of the day in line. And get the multi-pass if you are not planning to rope drop.

Have a great trip!
