I agree with Silock, you need professional help from somewhere like Touring Plans.
Both parks in a day is a tall order, especially if you are first timers. My crew (2 adults, 2 teens) can get through both in a day if we only do favorites; but we have to start early, on a quiet day, and go-go-go! Note that our favorites tend toward the Super Headliner coasters however, if you have different objectives YMMV.
A couple of general tips:
Start at park opening
Pick a quiet day
Know where you want to go in advance
Hit the busiest rides first, but try to avoid too much backtracking
If you want to do Wizarding World, start there early or save it til last (sometimes WWOHP crowds die down near closing)
Don't waste time with minor distractions if you have a full agenda
Use the single rider lines
If you can afford it, buy FOTL passes or stay onsite
Note our best ever day for getting things done was a cool rainy March break day. The rain kept the crowds way down so we got a ton done, but we used the drying stations a couple of times and bought warm and dry clothes at Citywalk on the way out (around 4:00 or 5:00 pm).
Thanks, guys! I have a touring plans subscription and have been playing with that some So, guess I will stick with that. Thanks for all the input and suggestions!!
