For the first time I will be solo at Disney. I am heading down for a conference on Sunday. I wanted to eat at Le Cellier as I have had to cancel every time due to daughter's wishes for something else. I just checked for a ticket so I could eat and it's a whopping $103. Is there any way to find it cheaper? Thanks!

Disney is the least-costly source of one-day and two-day tickets.
They don't wholesale them to their discounters.

There are convention tickets sold by Disney.
You often can get a free ticket if you want to spend 2.5 to 4.5 hours trying to not buy a vacation condo from some of the Orlando area real estate brokers.

DH is in Orlando for a conference in July.
They were offered conference tickets for after 2pm entry and after 4pm entry for around $70ish a person.

Disney values shareholders over stakeholders, and they're very good at reminding customers which one we are every time we pull out our wallets.

You could get a better steak near the boardwalk. Don't they have after 4pm ticket for Epcot ?

That would work! I have a reservation for 4:25......Is the steak worth $150? :)

Nope! But fish and chips at the takeout window and a Guiness are! Seriously, I almost bought a one day during a business trip just to eat in "England" :)

If you are just going for dinner, I'd definitely do a resort steakhouse instead. You'll still get to experience some atmosphere but not the price tag of park entry. There are lots of excellent restaurants outside of the parks.

Any advice on how to find one of these offers?

Could be worse. You could be going to the Magic Kingdom.

Six Flags tix went up to $67 this year. It's rough all over. There's no free FastPass system at Six either. Heck we pay $62 a person to go to Medieval Times. Even at $103 MK seems like a bargain to me! ;)
