Disney is the least-costly source of one-day and two-day tickets.
They don't wholesale them to their discounters.

There are convention tickets sold by Disney.
You often can get a free ticket if you want to spend 2.5 to 4.5 hours trying to not buy a vacation condo from some of the Orlando area real estate brokers.

In other words DO NOT DO THIS. Do not even consider it. Your time is more valuable than that. Hell, I'm one of the most frugal people out there and I would rather pay the $150 than spend 4 hours of my time in one of those meetings. They are BRUTAL.

For the first time I will be solo at Disney. I am heading down for a conference on Sunday. I wanted to eat at Le Cellier as I have had to cancel every time due to daughter's wishes for something else. I just checked for a ticket so I could eat and it's a whopping $103. Is there any way to find it cheaper? Thanks!

And no, this steak is not worth $150. It's actually not worth $25 It was one of the worst steaks I have had and my overwhelming feeling after leaving there was "I was ripped off" Service was bad, steak was bad, soup was good, but... I spent $100 on soup???? LOL!

I would find someplace else to eat!

Does this apply to any conference that you attend at a DIsney resort? I ask because my wife has one that we are attendting in October for 3-4 days at Coronado Springs. The discounted afternoon (after 2:00 2 day) would be perfect! We plan on doing the Halloween party one night but we still have a couple of open afternoons and wouldn't want to pay full admission.

1. Attendees of conferences and conventions can be in the Orlando area. It does not say only for "DISNEY" conference attendees.

For anybody else that might be interested, rather than regurgitate what’s already been said, I found this useful information. Perhaps it’s just me, but I am kind of intrigued by this because I always thought there was no such thing as a discounted Disney ticket, at least beyond some of the third party broker small discounts anyway. So it looks like you just call and order them that way.

When you are part of an eligible group your group generally either sends a link or has a link on their conference page.

It is a site. I however, did not give you the link because you aren't attending my conference. Had you been attending you would have received a link.

Having seen these numerous times I will warn you the pricing varies. Larger conventions get better prices IMHO.

And Disney does check to make sure you are part of the conference. For this conference my coworker tried to buy tickets a few days before the organizer got her in the system and got told "not eligible" but once she received registration info she got the deals.

If you want to buy a conference ticket you would probably have to buy it through your conference coordinator, not directly through Disney.

Yachtsman steak doesn't cost you a ticket and the meal is better.

I had to like that comment and reply cause on any ever given day yachtsman is way better. even flying fish for the strip is way better.
