We are going on a cruise in Dec., we fly in (MCO) at 2:00pm on friday, cruise sails on Saturday. We are staying at a hotel near the airport friday night. The hotel shuttle will only take you 5 miles from the hotel.
We want to go to Downtown Disney for the evening (about 6 hours total), then back to the hotel...

What is the cheapest form of travel to do this??? (excluding walking, biking, hitchiking.....gotcha before you said it!!!)

I can rent a small car for about $50 for 1 day. Any other ideas?? Most of the limo/taxi sites show about $110. round trip (I wont pay that)...

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!!

I need some Sosa family cigars for the cruise!!! :thumbsup2

I know that the Orlando public bus company, Lynx, stops at the WDW Transportation and Ticket Center. Assuming you can get the Lynx bus at the airport, you can take Disney transportation from the TTC to Downtown Disney. I know Lynx has a website with their routes and schedules -try it! And, I heard it's only $1.50 or so!! :teeth:

I wasn't aware there's a bus from TTC to DTD. If you take the Lynx to the TTC, you then would need to take the resort monorail to Polynesian (the first stop on the monorail after TTC) and from there take a bus to DTD.
