1 day plan for fw

we are planning to spend 1 day at fw,and would appreciate any itineraries that veterans have followed. thanks

You'll have a great time at FW for one day! I'm not sure what kind of itinerary you're looking for, it depends on whether or not you have small children with you.

But, here are some things to do:

Breakfast buffet Trail's End
Visit the Petting Farm and Blacksmith Shop
Visit the Trading Posts (2)
Rent bikes and ride around the campground and on the trails.
Rent a canoe or paddleboat and explore the little river that winds through the campground.
Rent water mice from the marina and buzz around the lake.
Rent fishing poles from the bike barn and fish in the pond (catch & release).
Have lunch at the Trail's End Buffet
Make reservations (now) for the Hoop Dee Doo dinner show.
Go to the campfire program at 7:00 (winter) or 8:00 (summer).
Watch the fireworks from the beach.
Watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach.

Whew! I'm sure I missed something! There's so much to do, you won't even miss the parks! LOL!
