Can someone explain why you can not split your fast passes across different parks. We like have a character breakfast at MK and do a fast pass. Then return to the resort to enjoy the pool and get away from the crowd. We then would then go to EPCOT, do a fast pass, then dinner. This is a relaxing vacation, but it can not be done......why?

Book your MK FPs (3) and allow 2 to expire. Then you'll be able to book a FP for the evening park.

3 FPs initially for one park is the basis of the system.

The why probably has to do with the tiering in place at Epcot and DHS. If you could split between parks, you could defeat the tiering by booking tier 1 attractions in both parks.

Additionally, maybe they are trying to encourage people to stay longer in those parks.
