1 Day Car Rental Around DL Resort

Can we rent a car for the day to go to the beach, we will be at the GC? EA members.

Or, do you think we should go ahead and rent a car at the airport. We don't know are way around Ca. at all but DH is pretty good with directions.

Want to do the easiest and fastest without going broke LOL!

Appreciate any info.

I would just rent the car at the airport and use that for your transportation to and from the resort as well. Much more convenient.

Laurie, ALL of the rental agencies at LAX are offsite, but the shuttles run constantly.

At the GC go to the guest services desk and they will arrange a car for you that is delivered to the hotel and you drop it off at the hotel, no stress at all. We did that for Universal Studios one day. The cost was 16.00 for the car, taxes additional. But it was so easy. We did this at the DLH and it worked like a charm.

For the price we got on the rental we decided to go with the airport rental. DH will take the shuttle to get the car and I will stay with DS with special needs and get the luggage.

I hope we don't end up getting to the GC the next day LOL!
